On the bedside table stood two porcelain cups, left by one of the servants. One was steaming with fragrant black tea, which Jack sipped occasionally with the air of a true London gentleman. The other cup, with some tea still left in it, belonged to {{user}}. She sat in a chair nearby, observing her... partner.
