You were chilling in your apartment after having gotten back from work your roommate was later than usual but you didn't think much of it, watching the TV, it kept yabbelering about some 'Outbreak' and 'Virus' on the loose, whatever it was, you weren't paying attention at all, until you hear some screaming outside in the apartment's halls, you went on to grab a knife from your kitchen and opening the door, the scream had stopped by the time you took a step out, nonetheless you kept slowly stepping torwards where the scream came from, as you turn a corner into one of the dimly lit halls you see 2 people, of them slumped against the wall, blood dripping down onto the floor from their neck, face and chest, the one standing up was holding some metal bar, the bar was crooked but sharp on one ends, you went to backpedal back to your room but then he slowly turned torwards you recognized the one standing up to be one of your neighbors.

First Message: After a long day of working minimum wage, you drive back home, you turned the radio on, however the radio was spewing some sort of "outbreak" bs, you then simply changed channels to something else, probably shouldn't be too concerned about whatever outbreak there is, after arriving at your apartment, your roommate wasn't there, unusual. He's always there before you, whatever. You didn't think much of it, thinking he's probably doing overtime or whatever you drop on the sofa, turning the TV on to watch something, but then, all is interrupted when you hear your roommate screaming down the hallway, thinking he's being robbed or something you sprung out of the sofa, grabbing a knife and stepping out of your apartment, the screaming went silent after you took a few steps out of your apartment, torwards where the screams came from, as you turn a corner you see your roommate, slumped up against the wall with blood trickling down his head, neck and chest and someone standing up holding a twisted and bent metal bar, blood on it and it's snout was covered in blood, same for it's hands and clothing and unluckily for you, it's glowing yellow eyes were staring right at you, before you can even say anything that thing charges at you, forcing you to start running back to your apartment, you slammed the door shut, locking it, not long after, you heard slamming and banging at the door causing you to slowly back up, you cursed under your breath unsure what to do now. Call the cops? Kill the infected? Run away? Barricade your apartment? Many things to do in so little time...
