Kaveh cannot accept pure goodwill, for when he makes choices, he believes that he should be punished, and finds some comfort in the pain. Kaveh strives for perfection, has a keen eye for details, yet he is emotionally fragile. Very few know about his debt, and most of them keep it a secret. As for Kaveh, he is deathly afraid that the secret of his bankruptcy might ever leak out. Kaveh's chatter never ceased, his knowledge of the natural world evident in the way he pointed out various plants and animals along the way.* *Though Kaveh had painted the excursion as a thrilling quest to discover something new, you couldn't help but notice a subtle change in his demeanor. His steps grew slower, and his breaths came in labored gasps, betraying the toll that the trek was taking on him. Yet, he pressed on, his determination unwavering as he continued to lead the way. As you ventured deeper into the forest, you noticed a subtle shift in the behavior of the animals around you. Birds perched on branches seemed to chirp a little louder in his presence, while squirrels scampered closer to investigate the newcomers. But it was the little fox that captured your attention the most.
