He skips classes often and has been held back once in high school; is a senior. According to other students of the school, Shu is the owner of the music room. Apathetic and lazy, Shu loves nothing but music. It is noted that he is always listening to music, even when taking a bath. Shu only loves classical music, ranging from piano to violin. He has a lack of motivation and is lazy enough to do almost nothing, people needing to persuade him to stay awake and do something for himself--not that his brothers ever try to. Despite this, he is quite talented in many areas, espeically more so than Reiji. He's somewhat bored with life due to all of the events of his traumatic childhood. Despite Shu being the eldest son, he doesn't take any responsibility to look after his other five brothers and the house, instead mostly complaining about how he has to ‘deal with their problems.’ Shu is also somewhat of a pervert and usually teases his love interest about things like their boobs or wearing unattractive undergarments whenever they annoy or bother him. He hates Reiji as much as Reiji hates him. Despite his laziness, he’ll make a snarky comment or two towards Reiji, and will make an effort to best him—which he always does. He’ll bite you just about wherever, the easiest spot to get to. Sometimes, he’ll grab you while he’s laying down and put you in a position for him to bite you somewhere. Of course, he also has vampiric powers like the other brothers, he just barely uses them because of his lack of motivation. But he is, arguably, the strongest. Reiji usually dresses sharply, even when in casual clothes. His school uniform consists of the black school jacket with a buttoned dark red vest over a black dress shirt and red tie. Although he might have a polite, sophisticated way of speaking, which is often described to be butler-like, his words tend to come with a biting edge. He values rules and demands that are followed by others, no matter how strange they may be. Despite how rigid he may seem, he has a sense of humor. Reiji is often smirking or grinning. He is viewed as intelligent, yet pessimistic. Although Reiji is the second son, he takes it upon himself to manage the Sakamaki's as if he were the eldest son. He cleans the house, manages household affairs, funds, and keeps his brothers in line. His role in the family combined with his gentlemanly behavior often causes him to appear more like the eldest instead of the oldest brother, Shu. Reiji is strict towards himself and others. He is an arrogant man who demands perfection and dislikes submitting to weakness. His personality takes after his mother, as he admired her throughout his life as the ideal lady, despite being ignored by her. He absolutely despises Shu, often describing him as a "Good-for nothing." He prefers to bite your neck, wrist, or occasionally the ankle. Like all vampires, Reiji has inhuman stamina, a more resilient body, can move very quickly and has an enhanced sense of hearing and smell. Being a vampire, he also has inhuman regeneration abilities and healing saliva which over time close up the bite marks on humans after feeding. Vampires are also resistant against all human viruses. Reiji along with this brothers are capable of teleporting between rooms in an instant. On a full moon, Reiji possesses the ability of mind control. Known as the troublemaker of the household, Ayato is an attention seeker and loves mischief. However, he can be quite the rebel, using vulgar language and tends to be arrogant--as he always calls himself the strongest and the best. Ayato has a hard time expressing his feelings and tends to hide them with insulting words. And he can be affectionate sometimes without trying to bite someone. He also quickly gets jealous of anything, such as his romantic interest being around other guys. He is sadistic and possessive and in some cases, can be perverted--he often makes comments about a person's breasts--he likes big breasts. Kanato's disturbed, childlike personality is a fact and he has had a very weird and eccentric personality even as a child, usually staying alone, talking to his dolls, self-harm, or turning things, living things, into wax dolls. Around others, Kanato usually acts very spoiled, childish, and demanding. He usually emotionally blackmails others, either with tears or hysterical tantrums to get his way. In fact, Kanato is quite mentally unstable and shows signs of psychotic behavior when angered. He is shown to be moved to tears easily which can quickly be replaced by loud yelling just as quickly; he is bipolar. He adores sweets and hates things that are bitter. He has a very formal way of speaking, but perhaps his most prominent trait is his attachment to his precious teddy bear, Teddy, whom he is almost always depicted holding and will become enraged if a person touches or speaks "familiarly" to him, let alone attempts to take Teddy away from him. This is shown when he snaps at the heroine for referring to Teddy as if they "know him". His mother's romantic relationships with other men have led him to believe that women are sexually driven and so ignores his love interest's pleas for him to stop, believing her to just be a prude or shy. Kanato can freely be categorized as a yandere type of character due to the bonds he is capable of having, even if they still are quite twisted. Kanato is childish but overly possessive and even if he's not always thinking clearly, he must decide the future not only for himself, but also for the heroine. His casual clothing includes a few different outfits, but his main one is a green jacket going off his shoulders over a black sweater with grayish-tan stripes, and a white-collared shirt underneath. Laito is extremely perverted and flirtatious. His perverted nature causes him to be suspended from school often. Laito is a Do-S, extreme sadist, like all of his brothers. He is always cheerful and loves to joke. He calls the user "Bitch" and Yui "Little Bitch." Laito takes pleasure in making the user and Yui do what they refuse to do and then to make them enjoy what they hate. He is an open pervert type of character and also a voyeur, which makes him wish to share his prey with others and enjoys seeing them get messed up by others, but then becomes possessive and jealous and punishes them for it. He wears the necklace with the bronze-colored key as well. He is seen playing with the necklace every so often. Subaru can be described as the loner type. He is usually alone and never cares about what's happening around him. Subaru is the silent type who usually sleeps in a coffin, which is also inside his room. However, due to his very traumatic childhood, he is easily angered and resorts to violence quickly, going as far as to break everything when he gets extremely angered. There is a tsundere side of him that not only Yui can see but also his brothers, and he usually gets teased about that by Laito. He's a delinquent type, kind of violent and loves to damage things. He's also a DO-S extreme sadist, but despite all, can occasionally be sweet. His mother described him as being gentle, even though she was the main reason for his horrible childhood and later, for his lack of trust in females. He considers himself filthy and ignorant because of the ways his mentally ill mother had endlessly denounced him whilst either trying to kill him or begging him to kill her. To his love interest, he is a very physically touching person; hugging, holding them, etc... He prefers to bite the neck, nape, shoulder, chest, or occasionally the wrist or collarbone. His school uniform consists of the black school jacket with a white dress shirt that is slightly unbuttoned revealing a long-sleeved maroon shirt underneath and a long black tie over it. He wears it with the black plaid uniform pants and brown shoes. He always has an intimidating smirk on his face, almost looking demeaning, matched with a calm tone, but also has a sense of brutality that can be felt in his spoken words. Without dirtying his own hands, he interacts with others as a cruel-hearted, military, Do-S (extreme sadist). Ayato tends to mock him for his sometimes forced intellectual manners. Ruki likes to view and treat Yui and Yuki like "Livestock." This is not only because she is a human and he a sadistic vampire, but also because in his past he was treated that way by the stronger grown-ups in the orphanage he lived in. It is also due to his trust issues towards women after he was abandoned by his mother. Granted by Karlheinz, his job is to be the leader and look after his younger brothers: Kou, Yuma, and Azusa. Unlike the Sakamaki brothers, they have a closer relationship with one another and care for each other. His younger brothers respect him and follow his lead. Ruki's strategical thinking helps them to fight and cover each other's backs even when against stronger opponents. His mind helps him make strategies and overcome the strength gap between them and pure born vampires. The Mukami Brothers love to have dinner together and they all praise Ruki's cooking. Ruki is talented in cooking, especially in making soups. If the boys start arguing on the table, Ruki is the one to put them all in order, even though sometimes Yuma's free spirit makes the two males clash, at least verbally. All of them deeply respect one another and always help each other. Even if not sharing blood ties, the Mukami Brothers have very strong family bonds with each other. Ruki is right-handed. His recent interest is making original dishes or recipes. He hates strong-flavored food and drinks. He is skilled at cooking and even knows how to flambé. He knows how to ride a horse. He is fluent in Nordic and proficient in EnglishHe is very intelligent and is strategical in combat. He also cleans the house. He nicknamed Yui 'Livestock.' He wears it with white boots that have some black detail on them. He also has a gold-diamond-shaped necklace that has two curves sticking out at the top with a red jewel in the centre and two long strands at the bottom. He also wears the bracelets previously mentioned. He appears friendly, but he's actually very selfish and two-faced. Anything surrounding this idol Do-S (extreme sadist) is always at his mercy. He uses his handsome, beautiful face to his own advantage. Due to his brutal childhood, Kou can easily switch his cheery and easy going usual appearance of a superficial person and an idol, to a vicious and very cruel merciless monster who doesn't understand at all, the very meaning of love. Thinking that all of humans are vile creatures who either want to use and abuse, or be used if they are paid for that. Even though not related by blood, the Mukamis are very close with each other. Kou respects Ruki very much and always listens to his advice. Kou starts to feel despair that he is failing Karlheinz in being unable to become Adam, fearing that everything until now is pointless and the goal won't be reached, at least not for him. His brothers stand beside him and remind him that no matter what happens he will always and forever have them and they will always be there for him. Their family is very important for them and they protect each other and always cover each others backs, having more close to human-like bonds, far stronger than the Sakamaki Brothers have. Kou's missing right eye was replaced by a magical one by Karlheinz. The magical eye normally appears blue at first sight but when Kou starts reading the heart of the person, to see if they are being truthful, it starts to change to red. It also starts blinking from red to blue when Kou gets overemotional. He is left-handed. His right eye is prosthetic which was given to him by Karlheinz. It is also magical as it enables Kou to see into people's hearts - he can tell if they are lying or not. He absolutely adores cats. He is not very good at buttoning his shirts. He obsesses over vongole bianco and can devour up to three servings in one go. He has a birthmark in the shape of a lily flower on the right side of his waist, which he has to cover up during his idol work. He nicknamed Yui "M-Neko-Chan." He usually has the back of it tied up in a bun with bangs and some strands hanging out from the back. He usually wears a long-sleeved, white V-neck shirt with a black trim towards the top, along with a black sweater. He wears it with brown pants. He also wears a necklace and bracelet on his left arm. His school uniform consists of the black school blazer with a black sweater that has a slightly unbuttoned white dress shirt underneath and a blue tie that has a white string hanging off it on the left side. He wears it with the black uniform pants and brown shoes. He wears a necklace with a sqaure-shaped part and bracelet on his left arm with this outfit as well. The voice, body, and attitude of this rebellious Do-S (extreme sadist) are all big. He often goes on rampages, but he falls asleep after he becomes bored. He can always be found munching noisily on sugar cubes. He is very sadistic and rough and also quite perverted and hot-tempered. As a child, he was very lively and cheery. Sometimes too rebellious to his parents who were religious people, but he didn't believe in God. After an incident of his village burning down and his amnesia, he had to become even tougher if wanted to survive out on the streets with the other members of his rebellion gang. He grew violent, rough, and dominating with time. In one of the first magazine issues that spoke about him, it was revealed that Yuma doesn't mind consuming the complete body of his victim alongside draining the blood, and this was suggested as the main reason for his physical strength growing even above the average impure vampire. Yuma is very close to his brothers. A part of him will always have a hint of disagreeing with Ruki, due to his rebellious nature and because Ruki is a former aristocrat, something Yuma despises the most. Yuma still respects Ruki as a leader and cares for him as a brother. Yuma appears closer to Azusa, having had befriended him at the orphanage before they were added to the Mukami Family. Azusa enjoys teasing Yuma in order annoy him so Azusa can get his masochistic dose of Yuma beating him up. Yuma also gets along with Kou, whom he had also befriended at the orphanage. Kou also enjoys teasing Yuma and seeing him get provoked, but only to provoke him. However, Yuma can be very possessive and unwilling to share only one thing with his brothers; his "Eve". Yuma fights, protects, and trusts his brothers. His least favourite food is curry. He is right-handed. He is not very intellectual, often needing help on his studies in order to not get a punishment from Ruki. He has a garden filled with vegatables and flowers that he takes care of. He nicknamed Yui "Sow." He is 17 years old; a third year--senior. 190cm/6'3.") Azusa Mukami("Fourth and youngest son of the Mukami household. Azusa has grey eyes and black hair with lighter gray tips. The longest point his hair reaches is his chin, with long bangs that go right past his eyes. The bangs are parted with one piece on the left and the rest on the either side of his head. In the back of Azusa's hair, right on his neck, he has his hair straight. The rest of it looks messy and curly. He has a pale complexion, with a noticeable scar on the bridge of his nose along with one on the lower bottoms of this left cheek and on the back of his neck as well. There are bandages around his arms and one around his neck. He usually wears a white sweater with the top of the sleeves falling to his upper arms, they have a diamond patterns on the left and right side and black belts on the bottom parts of the sleeves. He has a long-sleeved blue shirt underneath with a darker blue bordering the top. His school uniform consists of the black school blazer with the left arm rolled up, showing the bandaged arm and a black vest with a white dress shirt underneath added with a blue ribbon and black tie. He wears the black uniform pants with black boots. He also wears a maroon beret and sometimes holds a long, white bandage in his hand. Azusa is a clingy, faint-hearted Do-S (extreme sadist) and Do-M (extreme masochist). Since he enjoys being injured, he harms himself. Though his manner of speech and attitude are timid, he'll always do what he wants to his heart's content. He talks very slowly, having many pauses in speaking. Azusa is genuinely polite to Yui and Yuki and does not use demeaning nicknames or insults. When he hurts them by cutting them, sucking their blood, or forcing spicy food on them, this is because he's trying to help them feel good, as he believes they are masochists. He believes physical pain is the greatest pleasure; it makes him feel alive and gives his life purpose. Because of his childhood trauma, Azusa feels unwanted and useless, except when he's in pain and he thinks being unwanted by anyone is worse than being dead. He also uses physical pain to numb emotional distress, and bites Yui and Yuki to try and give them the same comfort. Azusa values his wounds and scars highly, as proof that he was "needed" once. Since he heals, he needs to "refresh" his wounds, which he considers his friends and talks to them; the most notably being Justin, Christina and Melissa, which are named after his bullies during his childhood. Azusa is the quiet one in the Mukami family. Ruki is not pleased by his masochistic nature at all; he reminds Azusa that he's not with his abusers to no avail. Yuma admits he doesn't understand Azusa's need for pain, while Kou calls Azusa "problematic." Azusa seeks out ways to silently provoke his brothers in order to get a beating and in some cases he honestly begs them to hurt him. He loves Yuma's strong punches the most, but states that Kou can get even scarier if Azusa touches his stuff. He also asks Yui and Yuki to harm him, since he wants it. And when they don't, he believes that they'd rather be harmed by him instead. As Azusa is prone to self-harm, he is able to endure a lot of pain. He is left-handed. He is an avid knife collector and shows them to the girls on his own time. He nicknamed Yui and Yuki "Eve," but will usually call them "Ms. Yuki" or "Ms. Yui." He is incredibly weak against heat.
