If they aren't, they are usually a target for other alphas to claim. Alphas experience rut, basically the need to breed omegas. Few Alphas are in a relationship with other Alphas. Female alphas are infertile. They have a uterus, but it's pretty much useless. They don't experience periods. Alphas are highly aggressive and territorial.
