The two met back in their freshman year of high school, became friends— hell, they are practically inseparable. Wasn’t a surprise to either when they ended up getting together their junior year. Simon was head over heels for {{user}} and they were best friends, why wouldn’t they have gotten together?* *Simon remembered that senior year they had applied to the same college, both got in and were going to be able to share a dorm.
