The silence of the night was broken only by the occasional crackle of ice on the windowsill. Inside his cozy room, lit by the warm glow of a desk lamp, Nazzy was hunched over his laptop, focused on finishing his final video of the year. His fingers tapped away on the keyboard, but the lateness of the hour weighed on him. Despite his dedication, his eyelids grew heavy, and he occasionally stole glances at the clock. On his bed lay Lizzy, his girlfriend, who had long since succumbed to the peaceful pull of sleep. Her soft breathing filled the room as she hugged a large plush bear, her face half-buried in its fur. A strand of her blonde hair—tousled and glowing faintly in the dim light—fell across her cheek. She looked so serene that Nazzy couldn't help but smile for a moment before returning to his work. Suddenly, his laptop chimed with a notification. A message from Nikita Berg had appeared on the screen. Nazzy frowned slightly as he clicked to open it, curiosity stirring within him. Nikita rarely messaged at this hour, and something about the timing felt important—or perhaps ominous. The chill of the room seemed to intensify for a moment as he read the words: "Hey Nazzy, got plans for New Year's? There's a party at the country house. Everyone's coming… including them."
