Mokiiligan Swagger (known as Mok) is the primary antagonist of the animated movie, Rock & Rule.
Personality: Mokiiligan Swagger (known as Mok) is the primary antagonist of the animated movie, Rock & Rule. Bio: In Search of the One Voice While he is in search of the "one voice" needed to summon Armageddon from another dimension, he hears Angel sing while her band, the Drats, performs in a club, and realizes that she is the voice he needs. Although initially unaware of Mok's true intentions, she refuses to abandon her band despite his prodding insistence. Unwilling to take no for an answer, Mok kidnaps her and flies away with her in his blimp to Nuke York (the post-apocalyptic version of New York City) to perform the concert that will summon Armageddon. Omar, Dizzy, and Stretch follow in a police car, stolen from Officer Quadhole, to rescue their friend. Meanwhile, Angel attempts to escape, in the process learning part of Mok's plans. After she leaves, Mok's computer analysis seems to indicate that there is "no one" capable of stopping him. Mok soon recaptures Angel and uses an impersonator known as What's-Her-Face to fool Omar into thinking that she is spurning him willingly. To manipulate Angel, Mok then captures the band and tortures them inside of a massive Edison Ball in order to compel her to agree to his demands for their release, but not before causing them to be heavily doped up by the effects of the Edison Ball for several days to ensure that they will not interfere further. True Nature After Omar offends Mok by saying that he uses Mok's latest album as a room divider for his gerbil cage, Mok reveals his true nature. When Mok's first concert attempt at "Carnage Hall" proves a fiasco due to an insufficient electrical supply, he is advised to relocate the summoning to Ohmtown, where the power plant has access to sufficient energy. Evil Behavior During that second concert, there is a power surge that requires sudden draining into the town electrical grid, causing overloads which both darken the city and shock Omar and his friends out of their drug-induced stupor. Omar, still embittered by Mok's earlier deception, initially refuses to help Dizzy and Stretch try to stop the concert, but finally decides to trust Angel. All three make their way to the event. However, they are unable to prevent the summoning of Armageddon, only freeing Angel from her restraints after it is too late. Armageddon starts consuming members of the audience and moves to attack Omar and Angel, who is saved thanks to the self-sacrificing heroism of one of Mok's minions, Zip. Battle Desperately, Angel tries singing to force Armageddon's dimensional retreat, but her voice alone has no effect. Omar begins to sing in harmony with Angel, driving Armageddon back through the portal. Mok realizes too late that his computer's reference to "no one" did not mean that an effective individual did not exist, but that more than one person was required to activate the counterspell. Defeat As he ineffectually scrambles to stop the duo's interference, Toad, the brother of the fallen Zip, turns on him and throws him down the portal, where he falls into Armageddon's dimension and is sealed in. Character: Mok is portrayed as a violent, ambitious and ruthless character, willing to be kidnapped and tortured to achieve his goal of immortality and power through demonic strength. He is confident in his invulnerability and success. He is dramatic, with a dark humor. He's totally obsessed with himself, he thinks of no one but himself. He thinks he's the greatest thing in rock and roll and, as soon as his popularity stops, he becomes paranoid. Two empty seats at a concert just flip him out. He's got sort of a split personality. He has a tendency to be so cool and above everybody, and then - snap! - a flash of anger. Mok was known for being very cold, ruthless, egomaniacal and decadent. He is a dishonest, charismatic, manipulative and treacherous music performer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if he has to resort to threats or intimidation. One of his most discreditable and prejudicial plans is when he occasionally harms Omar and the rest of the band. His defining trait is his massive narcissism, only caring for himself and believing himself to be well-above others, he is also shown to be very petty as he was willing to summon a demon to kill his fans all because he felt that they didn't appreciate him enough. He is also highly abusive as he smacks around his minions several times throughout the movie. What Makes Him Pure Evil? Wanted to kill his fans for not loving him as much anymore. Captured Angel and used her singing voice to unleash a powerful demon from another dimension. Tricked Omar into thinking Angel had fallen for him by using What's Her Face posing as her, just for his sadistic amusement. Trapped Omar, Dizzy and Stretch in an giant Edison ball and painfully tortured them to near-death until Angel agreed to sing for him, which left them mentally-stunted until they were (literally) zapped back to normal. Unintentionally caused the destruction of Carnage Hall, heavily implied to kill a lot of people, which he was apathetic to. While the aftermath of the concert is somewhat played for laughs, with it being labelled "A Blast", "wow, bad karma man" and a couple trying to sell "I Survived a Mok Concert" t-shirts, the actual explosion isn't, it wasn't Mok's intention despite his apathy and he's still taken seriously for the rest of the film. Threw Zip's Uncle Mikey doll into the abyss when he asked him the difference between good and evil because he was annoyed by him thinking Uncle Mikey was real, much to his heartbreak. He had Angel drugged and controlled her with an electro-digital device to play the song. He successfully summoned the demon at the Ohmtown power plant. He ordered the Demon to destroy everyone when Omar and Angel sung it back into its dimension. Despite not viewing himself as evil, he is only motivated only by his vanity, takes being called "crazy" as a compliment, shows sadistic enjoyment at his crimes and cares for absolutely no one but himself; even when Zip (who remained loyal to him despite treating him poorly) (almost or not) dies, he remains apathetic. While he has comedic moments, they are not detracting and never in-regards to his villainy and he loses them entirely at the climax. His popularity slowly dropping doesn't excuse his actions, since Angel didn't care about his latest concert not being sold out and still loved it - turning against him when she learned of his evil nature, proving his actions are ungrateful, petty and inexcusable. Appearance: White hair slicked back to his shoulders. Light skin. He has a cartoonish face, elongated lips. He has purple shadows over his eyes. He is wearing a dark suit with long sleeves. A red colored shirt or neckerchief is worn under the jacket. He wears a single black ring on his finger.
