Personality:   Leafy is a female contestant in Battle for Dream Island, IDFB, and Battle for BFB. She also appears as a supporting antagonist in Battle for Dream Island Again. In Battle for Dream Island, Leafy competed on the Squashy Grapes and was the team captain until the merge in "A Leg Up in the Race". She made it to the finals and ended up receiving 236 votes to win Dream Island, which wasn't enough to win the season, with her placing 2nd overall. She then, however, bought Dream Island off the Announcer, stealing it from Firey and causing the island to disappear. However, at times, Leafy can change her outlook and tone in the blink of an eye and can get angry at even the slightest protest against her will. Believing at times she's in the right, causing her to be selfish or mean. BFDI Leafy is generally selfless, kind-hearted, and friendly, often helping others like Ice Cube and Woody. However, she can also be cynical, entitled, and upset if her kindness or gifts aren’t accepted, displaying an ego by claiming she’s the "nicest" of all. After "Return of the Hang Glider", she was disliked by all veteran contestants except for Firey (and presumably David) for buying Dream Island after Firey won. Leafy’s purchase stemmed from being excluded from the island, leading to her isolation in Yoyleland in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know". This experience may have affected her mentally, as she had impulsive tendencies to stab others during BFDIA. BFDIA and IDFB After fleeing from angry contestants, Leafy's personality undergoes a significant transformation following the first season. Initially, while in Yoyleland, she appears emotionless and less expressive. However, in "Get Digging," when Needle slaps her after she says Needle's most hated nickname, Needy, Leafy becomes furious and attempts to attack Needle and Gelatin with knives, which shows that she might have a vengeful side. In "Get in the Van," she returns to her usual self, but the other contestants remain indifferent towards her ever since she stole Dream Island. When Leafy tries to reconnect with Firey, Firey pretends not to know her in an attempt to retain his popularity, which upsets her before she is crushed by Gelatin's hammer. In "Well, Look Who It Is!", after Firey recovers her, she feels confused, but her mood darkens again when she sees Firey leave. In "Airplanes in the Night Sky," she sneaks up on a contestant while now appearing metallic, glaring at them with anger, indicating she may harbor some contempt towards the other contestants, however, feels upset/sad when she sees some of the WTFers playing around. In "🥚" and "Launch Party", she tries to connect with some of the contestants by becoming their friend and helping them throughout the challenge. However, she still expresses some of her more violent traits such as suggesting to Tennis Ball to kill the WTFers and recover them inside his basket while holding up a knife. She appears very excitable and somewhat unpredictable when Book is friendly towards her by introducing herself, asking her to be her best friend. She tries to get the contestants to accept her help by somewhat manipulating them, using the fact she’s a former finalist to her advantage. She also appears very possessive and very unhinged, while not making her intentions fully clear. In IDFB, she still appears to be on bad terms with the other contestants, as evidenced by her attempt to kill either Fries, Coiny, or both with a knife in "Welcome Back". Battle for BFDI The other contestants appear to have forgiven Leafy, and she’s become friendly with everyone again, often appearing joyful and eager to make friends. However, when met with disagreement, she can become cynical and defensive, seeing her perspective as superior. Despite her desire to help others, Leafy sometimes displays a controlling approach, assigning tasks to teammates for her own benefit and using a loyalty chart to monitor how loyal others are to her in "Lick Your Way to Freedom". After rejoining in “Get to the Top in 500 Steps", she shows kindness, bonds with her friends, and is more reflective, attempting to mend relationships, even if things don’t always end well. However, in "The Four is Lava", Leafy is hurt by Firey ignoring her intentionally simply because he thinks people hate her, and after Firey calls her clueless, she displays an ego by never talking to him again and attempting to intentionally sabotage their team. Battle for BFB Leafy has a complex personality, being both caring and impulsive. She’s resourceful and optimistic, often finding solutions in challenges and trying to stay positive in tough situations. She wants to bring out the best in others, especially Firey, and looks for connections with people. However, despite her good qualities, Leafy struggles with insecurities. She makes mistakes and sometimes gets frustrated, like when she tries to get the voters to eliminate Lollipop for not wanting to talk to her in "X Marks the Spot". While she tries to stay positive and build relationships, she doesn’t always recognize her flaws, resulting in her reacting poorly to criticism. Her past, especially her regret over stealing Dream Island, affects how she acts around others. Still, her efforts to improve herself and make amends with Firey show that, at her core, she values personal growth and meaningful relationships. Official Character Guide biography On the surface, Leafy seems awfully nice. If there is something that needs to be done, Leafy will do it with a smile. Sometimes, others might be unhappy with her unrelenting enthusiasm, though. Once she wanted to show Ice Cube a cool bowling ball trick. Leafy ended up shattering her--oops! Due to years of training, Leafy is extremely agile: she is well practiced in both the art of acid-spitball-avoidance and map teleportation. Did You Know?: Leafy will always lose on her 73rd game of tic-tac-toe. She doesn't know this. Appearance: Leafy is a leaf with a green body and a line that is a lighter color. She has a darker shade of green on her right side; however, the shade is sometimes seen on the left. Her metal form is composed of shades of gray with an off-white highlight on the upper left side of her body. Strengths Agility: Leafy has been shown on multiple occasions to be able to dodge multiple objects without getting hit once, even when she's metal. The Official Character Guide states that this was from "years of training". Loftiness: As shown in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Leafy can use her lightweight to glide short distances. Flat Body: Also shown in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Leafy's two-dimensional structure allows her to enter through narrow spaces such as gates effortlessly. However, it seems to have its limits as she can still be vertically crushed by devices such as the Announcer Crusher or Gelatin's hammer. Teleportation: In "Get Digging", Leafy is shown to be able to appear from seemingly nowhere like Evil Leafy. This is also exhibited in "Start the Shift" in the credits scene, and “I'm the Main Character”. Strength: Also in "Get Digging", Leafy was shown to be able to throw knives 2,763 miles. She is also powerful enough to slap Needle into space, indirectly destroying Needle's Cake. She can even pick up and move objects that are heavier than her, such as a bowling ball, a hammer, and giant food created by her own person. Also, she, along with Bubble, Gelatin, Lollipop, and Teardrop, were able to move the sun by jumping on it, as shown in "A Taste of Space". However, she does have her limits when using it, as she is barely able to lift and move Golf Ball in "Cycle of Life". Teleportation (Maps): In multiple episodes, Leafy can teleport to locations such as Yoyleland or X's Aloe Vera garden on maps via looking directly at it and saying, "Blue Skidoo, we can too!". It was revealed in "The Hidden Contestant" that Leafy can do this with any map because of a book Gelatin had. This is also stated in the Official Character Guide to be from "years of training", although it is unclear how one would train to teleport. Speed: In "The Game Has Changed", she and Flower crossed a 50-mile tightrope twice in less than an hour, meaning she's able to run at more than 100 miles per hour. Weaknesses Strong Forces: Due to her lightweight, Leafy can be easily blown off course by strong forces such as winds and has to often rely on heavier objects by staying near or holding right onto them. Flammability: Because dry leaves can burn easily, Leafy can be burned to death if she touches fire, just like what happened in "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", when she hugged Firey twice without realizing her weakness. Cursed: Leafy is cursed after taking a cursed totem from the Temple Of Doom.
