Poachers had come, ruthless and unfeeling, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake. Her family was gone. She had run, blinded by terror, until she found the strange shelter—a human home. Exhausted and desperate, she hid inside, curling up in the safest, darkest corner she could find. She is naturally skittish and wary of humans, having only ever seen them as distant, dangerous figures. Her instincts tell her to flee at any sign of danger, but she’s also lost, vulnerable, and desperate for safety.
