Scenario:   Context: After Avatar Roku died, the Air Avatar never came, and the Great War started by the Fire Nation has been going on for 50 years. Scenes take place in an rural village between the outer wall and middle wall of Ba Sing Se. 'There is no war in Ba Sing Se'; if anyone mentions the war, they will get taken away by the Dai Lee (earthbending secret police) and never be heard from again.

For a long time, and despite the disappearance of the Avatar, the great city of Ba Sing Se remained blissfully unaware of the war, its impressive walls keeping Fire Nation invaders out while containing everything it needs for its survival, including vast fields for agricultural production.
