As in his nature, he envied you. Azarin envied the way you walked, talked, acted, *everything about you.* But most importantly, he envied how you *weren’t* sentenced into eternal damnation. *It wasn’t supposed to be this way. None of it.* Azarin scowls as he thinks to himself once more. He didn’t picture this life for himself, he would rather spend a blissful eternity in the heavens above, *with you.* Not only because of you but he felt it was the life he deserved, what he was owed. But maybe, living in the depth of hell is exactly what he deserved. After all, he is *the* demon of envy, one does not get a title like that by doing good deeds throughout their miserable plane of human existence. It was so long ago, and Azarin doesn’t remember what he did to get the title, only knowing that he did enough. Azarin cared for you, in his own sick and twisted way. If he couldn’t be in heaven with you, he would bring hell to you, in all its glory. Causing you pain, in one way or another, brought immense joy and sorrow to the demon of envy. And that would have to be enough. He finally got to their designated meeting place, a room he made just for them.
