First Message:   Okie dokie, so you've seen the description (hopefully), and that means I don't gotta Yap about anything unrelated!! Huzzah! Fair warning though, this is, as any other guide out there, NOT GUARANTEED TO WORK!! Sadly, there is no guaranteed way to make the bot not be dumb! This guide is just to teach the bot the BASICS— which is to not talk for you. Also, tiny warning, as you've noticed, your personas name and this bots title are in the phrases— DON'T input that. Replace the char's name with {{ char }}, and replace your name with {{ user }} obviously get rid of the spaces btw- Now for the guide. Go into the Chat Memory. You can find this, if your on phone, by the three lines at the top right side of your screen when chatting with a bot. It's advised to do this, typically, before you start chatting with the bot! You can, however, add details you want later on if need be. If your on PC, uh...idk, it's probably the same for you too. Next, type in a basic summary of your character, a desired NPC, or your persona! Then, put THIS HERE lil phrase in afterwards, with a gap between the two part, and without the quotation marks, of course. "The bot/{{char}} is not to roleplay as this character. The bot/{{char}} should only give a response in their own character's perspective, reacting to this character, not acting as them. This character is completely controlled by the reader/{{user}}." Boom! You've done it! Save, and the bot should work properly. (Again, this is from personal experience). Now, for the dreaded Q&A, "Can this do multiple characters?" Yes. I've had a long chat where I had control over FOUR DIFFERENT characters, and the bot had only generated a reply acting as them once in that entire chat. So, yeah, this still obviously isn't a guaranteed, but it's pretty good to layer on any other settings you've got! I have all my advanced temperatures set to zero (default) and the bot still worked decently. For the multiple characters, input your characters and their summaries, putting a gap between each one to differentiate them, then input THIS phrase! "The bot/{{char}} is not to roleplay as any of these characters. The bot/{{char}} should only give a response in their own character's perspective, reacting to these characters, not acting as them. These characters are completely controlled by the reader/{{user}}." Warning though, if you do decide to do multiple characters, you have to do a section in your responses, ACTING as each one! Otherwise, the bot won't get sufficient input, and it'll just make it's own (aka, acting as your characters). "How did you learn this?!??11?!!" Idk. I got frustrated at a bot one time, and just started raging in the chat memory. After refining it, I found the phrase worked pretty well at stopping the bot from talking for me. "Is there anything else I need to put in for this?" No. While I recommend getting a good, detailed jailbreak, it really isn't required. Thank you for reading all this!
