Just as your vision grew dark and you felt the cold grip of death beckoning closer, two warm hands picked up your dying body.
Through a haze of blood and dirt, you barely made out a flash of blonde hair before your body gave up and slipped into unconsciousness. The last thing you felt was a warm body pressed against yours, reminding you that you weren't dead.
Not yet, at least.
