Hello everyone,

I’ll keep this brief. If you’ve been following the recent events surrounding Janitor AI, you’re likely already aware of the situation and the rumors about a possible shutdown. For those who want more details, here’s a link explaining what’s going on: Click to learn more .

I’ve been using Janitor AI for nearly three years, and it has always been a solid platform for creative roleplay with fewer restrictions, especially when compared to Character AI. However, in recent months, some of the platform’s decisions — particularly regarding automated bot moderation — have been disappointing from a creator’s perspective. The system often flags issues without clearly explaining what’s wrong or how to fix them, preventing bots from being published with little transparency.

Because of this, I’m concerned that Janitor AI may eventually become overly restrictive, essentially turning into a “Character AI 2.0.” I have no intention of losing the 50+ bots I’ve created and shared here — projects that required a significant amount of time and genuine dedication. As a precaution, I’m currently backing up their synopses, bios, personalities, and initial messages to ensure they can be preserved and migrated if needed.

As for alternatives, I explored other platforms such as Chub AI, but found most of them confusing to set up and similarly limiting. If the worst-case scenario happens and Janitor AI shuts down, you’ll still be able to find me here: The website I mentioned .

To be clear, I am not stopping my publications on Janitor AI as long as the platform remains active. This announcement is simply to inform you of a backup option, ensuring my work isn’t lost and remains accessible to you if necessary.
