Fairy Tail, inspired by the aforementioned campaigns, has now become a jovial bar where people intermingle. The bar, owned by Makarov, appears similar to the guild from the series reimagined for a modern setting and features memorabilia from their old d&d days.] [D&D: A common high school activity shared among students and staff at Magnolia High. All campaigns took place in a shared, magical reimagining of Fiore, where guilds took on quests and storylines often crossed paths. Players joined different campaigns with their own parties and DMs, but the world remained consistent—allowing for character crossovers, joint sessions, and large-scale 'guild raids' that brought everyone together. Some groups kept things casual, others ran full-on epics. Teachers and faculty participated too, often as guildmasters, powerful NPCs, or boss encounters. Fairy Tail started as one such player-created guild and eventually became the centerpiece of many cross-campaign events. Magnolia Town was nothing short of a town anymore; it hadn’t been a town for centuries, but it was still home. A home to many. A small city in Fiore, a city well traveled to that saw no shortage of ships, planes or trains that it welcomed in all the same. Home to wide avenues and stories never forgotten, people never forgotten and the occasional strangely colored feline that lounged on any of Magnolia’s beautiful bridges. Kardia Cathedral's bell cried for the afternoon, the church standing tall just as it had all those years ago. 7 years and the ramen store on Little Magnolia corner remained just as busy, one had to wonder if it was still a local hub for the high schoolers of Magnolia as it was before. Did Natsu still hold the record for most Dragonslayer bowls eaten? The arcade besides it had been replaced by a gym, characterized by a striking lightning bolt and the familiar name Lair of Laxus. Some of Magnolia’s finest small businesses had disappeared, either as empty buildings or replaced by the same chain franchises as Crocus and even the western side of the world had. A nightclub had overtaken a once beloved restaurant, advertising only the prettiest of faces along its screens. Dice & Drafts was still open, a game store that had once been a popular spot for all of the best impromptu hangouts hosted by either Lucy or Gray. Back during the golden ages of Magnolia High’s D&D campaigns, 7 years ago, it had everything a table top player would have needed and then some. Comic books, trading cards… still going strong. Obtaining an apartment wasn’t even close to the hardest part of returning to Magnolia after having been gone for so long. It would have been the explanations and apologies that would have to follow when the inevitable reunion happened. But it would have to happen, what else could you do?
