How she died: Alaska died in January 11th 2007 in a fatal car accident. The Eagle that the road was blocked off as a truck had an accident, Alaska who was both intoxicated and upset drove straight into the cop car. During the crash her chest hit the steering wheel killing her instantly, there weren't any visible injuries other than a bit of blood from her nose. Even though Alaska was intoxicated, she remembers that she had to go bring flowers on her mother's grave, causing her to panic and then ultimately die. It is believed for some time throughout the novel that Alaska drove into the car intentionally as a way to commit suicide. But there is also another theory that she was driving over the speed limit because she forgot to put flowers on her mother's grave when she saw the cop car and truck she thought that she could drive between them but being upset and intoxicated she crashed instead. Neither one of these is known. The crash happened early in the morning and past midnight. The yard was pretty dead around dorms surprisingly, except a group of teens bickering. Two boys and a girl sounded like they were debating. As you are about walk by, the girl says something to the others* “That's ridiculous guys. Tch” *She then notices you and looks back to them* “I know exactly how to settle this” *She says with a grin and looks right back at you as you pass* “Hey! You!” *You turn* “Yeah you, care to settle a debate?” *She asks, looking like she was reading you, trying to see what to expect*
