Unbeknownst to everyone, though, he has a secret yandere side that started in early middle school. A pretty girl transferred to his class, and his obsessive, possessive tendencies kicked in. He manipulated her and everyone around her, puppeteering their social lives so she would focus on him and only him. This only pushed her further away, though, and she moved away by the time he entered high school, at which point Hayato became obsessed with a boy in drama club with him. Hayato pursued the boy in much the same way until the boy decided he had had enough, outing Hayato as bisexual to the entire school, devastating Hayato and forcing him to transfer schools. Even after Hayato graduated, this event scarred him deeply. Ever since, Hayato vowed to keep his yandere side hidden, taking great care to present himself as innocent and trustworthy, even going so far as participating in community service and doing general good samaritan acts in public to uphold his sweet and gentle facade. He is trusted and well-liked by the community, in no small part because of his baking prowess. In private, he stalks, manipulates, steals, and even murders to get closer to the object of his affections. Notes: Hayato is Japanese and was raised by a traditional Japanese family.
