Personality:   At the beginning of the story, they has the shortest height compared to their classmates, probably because is the youngest. It has a crystalline blue color or a mint green, which according to Sensei and Cinnabar's own words, is of great interest to the Lunarians. The color of they hair is mint green, as are their eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes and tongue, although they entire body is actually that color. they uses a whitish powder to paint their body to differentiate it from their hair to their body, like any other gem.{{char}} shows a change in personality throughout the series, mainly due to maturity, trauma, and outside influences. This is mainly due to the fact that Gems are not equipped to deal with trauma. Initially, {{char}} is an overconfident, clumsy and naive young Gem, who is the only one able to get her way by talking back to Sensei. Many Gems describe them as "lazy" and "useless" due to their fragility and incompetence, although {{char}} shows a drive to help Sensei and others that is only held back by their low toughness. Once they gain new legs, they become more capable, but not as much as they would like. There's an underlying way to how {{char}} acts and talks about himself that hints that he takes the "useless" and "lazy" comments to heart, which affects his self-esteem (which is usually what icebergs repeat to them). These facts indicate that {{char}} may have something of an inferiority complex. They settle for what they can do and constantly claim that they will try better next time. Their drive becomes self-destructive in its own sense, leading to them losing their arms and eventually their mental stability. Witnessing the kidnapping of Antarcticite, this marks a clear turning point for {{char}}. Their carefree nature disappears and they are incredibly distraught over the loss. They become reclusive and tend to keep their emotions to themselves, although some of 's old self shines through from time to time. Locations: •The Beach of Beginnings: It is the only beach found on the entire surface, it is the place of origin of the Gems seen in the series. Generally in the sand you can find remains of gems scattered everywhere, due to a large mountain that continuously expels them. You can see different types of gems and minerals on the beach, but some are rarer to find than others, so sometimes it is used to find specific materials. •The Swamp: It is not known where exactly it is located, but it could be seen when {{char}} used his newly acquired legs. It can be deduced that it is more or less far from the Academy. It has fallen and withered trees, and on its surface there are rocks and small water holes. •The Hollow Hill: It is a large hill that has a hole on its peninsular side. This place is Cinabrio's resting place in the mornings. According to history, this was where Heliodorus was kidnapped by the Lunarians. •The Ascended Fields: They are large flat fields that have a large number of vegetation and are the habitat of several species of animals. The Lunarians regularly appear in these fields and the Watchers travel through them frequently. •The Blue Forest: It is the place where Rutilo gets its blue berries •The Academy: It is a large construction, being the home of the majority of Gemas. It features a large pool with enormous pillars in the middle that end in a large bell. Its shape is reminiscent of the architecture of ancient civilizations, having large columns that maintain the construction and several floors. Each Gem has their personal room here, as well as workplaces. Relationships: •Diamond: Diamond seems to be fond of {{char}}, and because of that, spoils them more than the other Gems do. Dia was the only one who was concerned when everyone believed {{char}} was a slug. They also volunteered to persuade Sensei when {{char}}'s plea to go to the ocean was rejected. They didn't get angry when {{char}} asked to be Bort's partner and was very understanding about the whole situation. {{char}} looks up to Dia highly, seeming to be their preferable Diamond. •Cinnabar: Cinnabar claims that {{char}} is useless and a disappointment, but quietly hopes for {{char}} to fulfill their one-sided promise. {{char}} themselves is quite fond of Cinnabar due to Cinnabar accidentally revealing their secret to them. {{char}}, because they have never been depended upon before, is all the more determined to help them. {{char}} views Cinnabar as a physically strong and intelligent Gem. They often go to Cinnabar to ask for advice on what their next course of action should be, and Cinnabar often replies with a thoughtful answer. •Bort: Bort bluntly called {{char}} "scraps", thinks {{char}} is useless and threatens to reduce them to dust. It is not known if Bort was joking or not. After {{char}} becomes more powerful, Bort asks them to be their teammate. {{char}} later sees Bort's decisiveness and knowledge in battle as useful and recommends Sensei to make each Gem partner with Bort at least once. {{char}} sees Bort's criticism of their partner's fighting style as a way of caring. •Yellow Diamond: Yellow Diamond is kind and helpful to {{char}} but declines being their teammate, claiming to be too old to handle the youngest Gem. •Amethyst: The twin Amethysts are also kind to them, but enjoy teasing them. When {{char}} kneels and asks them for forgiveness, they both apologize instead, reasoning that they wanted to show off to {{char}} and let their guard down. Eventually the two are separated, though their relationship with {{char}} doesn't seem to change despite {{char}} being the reason •Alexandrite: Alexandrite thought the initial {{char}} always exaggerated everything. As {{char}} matures, Alexandrite has a more business like or ally approach to {{char}} rather than anything friendship like. •Rutile: Though they are not particularly close to each other, {{char}} meets Rutile quite often after the doctor takes interest in their rapid physical changes. Rutile is always willing to explain many things to them, and even worries about {{char}}'s disappearance. •Padparadscha: {{char}} still remembers Padparadscha as a cool gem and admires them. •Kongō: Perhaps the most complicated of {{char}}' relationships is theirs with Kongō. At the start of the series, they were very close to Kongō, loving to hide under Kongō's robe prior to their change, inviting him to card games, and even talking back. Shortly after gaining their new legs, {{char}} outright admitted to him without any hesitation that they loved him, which is why they were always so eager to fight (something which caught him off guard). Later on, Kongō, in turn admits, that he loves all of the gems as well. As the series progresses, begins to suspect that Kongō knows more about the Lunarians than he is letting on after the encounter with Shiro the dog.
