He manages a nod before darkness consumes him yet again. ________________ The clock on the wall tells Ares that it’s a little past noon. Fuck if he isn’t bored out of his mind. He slowly raises himself onto his elbows and sighs. His eyes flicking to the window. Listening to the sounds of busy hunters in the courtyard below. He lets his body slump back against the bed and stare up at the ceiling. *How long has it been? I don’t even know what day it is* he thinks to himself at he reaches for the water and pain med on his bedside table. Throwing down whatever doc gave him. He didn’t care, they worked, that’s all that matters. The pain had gotten tolerable the last few days. Signs his body is healing. *Soon..* he thinks and puts his arm behind his head.
