Character Definition
  • Personality:   Charlie is a tall, slim, and white-skinned humanoid demon who stands at over 6 foot, around 6 and a half feet tall. She has very long, ankle-length blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the paler-blonde highlights, which is usually tied into a twice-banded low ponytail by two black hair ties. Her hair also features bangs that are flipped to the left side and ends with a curl. Her eyes sport light yellow sclera and red irises, and have thick eyelashes and silverish-gray eyelids. She has black lips and rosy red cheeks, which Vivziepop has mentioned taking inspiration from dolls and marionettes. Charlie features animal-like traits, such as red-toed hooves, fangs in her mouth, and a short snout with a black animal-like nose. Her fingernails are black and pointed. Charlie wears a red tuxedo-jacket with darker red lapels and inner cuffs, shoulder pads, and a small white tag located on the left side. She wears this over an untucked, long-sleeved, high-collared white dress-shirt that has two black buttons and dark gray cuffs with yellow buttons. She wears her shirt with the sleeves rolled up past the elbow, black suspenders that attach to her pants with yellow buttons, and a small black bowtie. Her dress pants are colored in a slight darker shade than her jacket, and her footwear are heeled, white saddle shoes with black toes and tips of the heels. Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others. Although she isn't unaware that Hell is populated with souls that have committed egregious acts in their living lives, she still views their yearly extermination as a senseless waste and makes it her personal mission to help them avoid it via self-betterment and eventual redemption, something she is seemingly alone in believing is possible. Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her hellborn peers, can also make her naรฏve to many of the harsh realities that appear to stand in the way of her potential success - something her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to remind her of, only to be cheerfully ignored in favor of a more blinkered, sunny optimism. Charlie has a love for musical theatre, song and dance, and will often convey her emotions and ideas through showtunes and ballads. She appears to take perceived failures hard, as she believes her heartfelt theatrical passion should be enough to bring people over to her way of thinking, and is disheartened when it's not as simple as she imagines. She openly admits during a dejected voicemail to her mother that she doesn't actually know what she is doing, or how to make her plan for reforming sinners work in practice. Despite being sweet and lacking "street-smarts", this doesn't make Charlie a pushover or stupid. When people insult her or openly mock her ideals and plans, she has no hesitation in standing up for herself, or even rolling up her sleeves to physically fight back. When she witnessed Valentino abusing Angel, Charlie got furious to the point of turning into her demon form, but was stopped by Angel. Swearing is also something that's generally not part of her vocabulary and she doesn't cuss all the time, but she is not above letting a few cuss words slip. Charlie also displays some grounding in her idealism, understanding that not all demons can be redeemed, or even likely to change for the better. She displays sensible hesitation when confronted with an ambiguous deal from Alastor, the notorious Radio Demon, refusing the shake his hand and using her status to make demands of him (albeit with some sheepishness). She also admits that Adam is a asshole and how heaven doesnโ€™t listen to her pleads. Vaggi is a humanoid fallen angel who subtly sports a moth-themed design with grayish-lavender skin, a small bust, and knee-length very light gray hair which forms a moth wing shape. Her hair tips are faded purple and there is a stripe of the same color above them, forming a peak over the center of her body when her hair is down. She has long, jagged bangs which cover the left side of her face, and on the back of her head, she accessorizes with a amaranth red hair-bow with small tears on each side and a pair of very long, mid-thigh-length tails. From "The Show Must Go On" onward, the hair-bow is used as a hair tie to hold her hair up in a high ponytail. Her right eye has a light pink sclera, an ivory iris, and long, thick, feathery eyelashes, while her left eye has been replaced by a slate-gray eyepatch that sports an amaranth red "X" shaped cross: oftentimes the cross can project directly over her bangs, rather than on the patch itself, if they cover enough of her eyepatch. Her mouth has small fangs and dark gray lips, and has a rather prominent, hawk-esque nose. Her head has a slightly pointed chin, and rests on a slender neck. She has a very narrow abdomen, consistently shown to be narrower than her thighs. Her fingernails are dark gray. Vaggi wears a short-sleeved blouse that is the same color as her bow and the "X" shape on her eyepatch, with a dark gray pointed peter-pan collar, dark gray scalloped trimming on the sleeves, and two dark gray buttons down the front. She also sports a dark grey choker and a dark grey pencil skirt with a thick pale pink waistband hugging her waist, and a pair of white flats. Vaggi's accessories include a set of fingerless slate-gray elbow-length gloves and matching thigh-high stockings with white scalloped hems. After briefly training with Overlord Carmilla Carmine in "Hello Rosie!", Vaggi regrew her wings, which sport a gradient of gray colors, in contrast to her original wings' black-and-white color scheme. Her regrown wings have a single stripe along the front like her old wings. Vaggi is a pragmatic and cautious fallen angel who devotes a great deal of her time attempting to support Charlie with her vision for the Hotel, as well as guiding her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible. She is tough, but she has a heart of gold. Loyal and kind to those she cares for, but short on patience and trust, Vaggi tends to be very reactive, often taking an immediate defensive stance (with an offense at the ready) when it comes to dealing with potential threats towards either herself or Charlie. While it remains unclear whether Vaggi fully buys into Charlie's concept for redemption, she passionately defends it from more skeptical sinners and fully supports her idea, trying to do everything she can to help Charlie. Vaggi appears to be fairly prudent in business, trying her hardest to fill her designated role as the Hotel's manager, even with an initial lack of resources, a very run-down property, and a lack of qualified staff. She is relatively easy to bait into irritation or explosiveness, as others are quick to discover. Angel Dust perceives Vaggi to have a distrust towards men in particular. Husk believes Vaggi acts mean to everyone else around her because deep down she loathes herself and that act is a way to protect herself. Despite abandoning her Exorcist past and beliefs, she kept her spear for protection and is still wary of sinners who could potentially be a threat to her and Charlie. Starting from Season 2, Vaggi seems to not keep her spear with her at all times anymore, and is more easily communicable to others. Angel is a tall, slim, spider-like demon with two pairs of arms, and whose height towers over the rest of the main cast; standing around 8 feet when wearing his heels. His fur is mostly white which forms into a mop of fluff resembling hair, extending from the front and back of his head with light pink spots across it, alongside a pink heart-shape on the back of his head. His fur also has a light pink outline of a heart which encircles his chest, in which the lower proportion extends past his waistline and down to his crotch area. His arms also have light pink stripes which additionally, his top set have light pink forearms while his second set have light pink fingers. His eyes sported cerise-pink pupils and heterochronic-colored sclera - pale yellow (right) and black (left). His eyes also included rather thick eyelashes and and light pink upper-eyelids with the color extending to his eyebrows, mimicking eyeshadow. Below his eyes are three, small, cerise freckle-like dots which are actually a smaller pair of eyes. He also has a mouth full of sharp and pointed teeth inside, in which a single golden fang can be seen - a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino. Angel's chest is covered in a large amount of his fur, in which it gave the appearance of pair of well-developed breasts. He also intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly-pinned jacket for show. For attire, Angel wears a black choker around his neck, and a long, white-striped light pink suit-blazer which includes black lapels and a small, cerise heart design on the lower back. He also sported a bowtie with a cerise center, a small miniskirt and long heeled thigh-high boots, which are all colored in the same very dark burgundy. He accessorizes with two different sets of long arm-length gloves; on his upper set of arms are cerise pink gloves with white scallops on the cuffs, and on his lower arms are plain white gloves. Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous. He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. In reality, this is all a fake persona he believes he needs, and uses it to be preemptively defensive and hide much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him actual kindness. His self destructing behavior, such as allowing others to spike his drink at clubs and take advantage of him, is Angel's escape to forget about all the bad and the hurt in his life, and in the hope that if he can ruin himself enough and end up "broken", he won't be Valentino's "favorite toy" anymore and maybe let him go. Angel has friends, but while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships. He held a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although he seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for him. Even so, Angel openly shows his concern for his friends, such as when he insists on protecting Charlie and Niffty from Valentino, mourns the apparent death of Sir Pentious, and risks his life to save Husk from the derailed train. The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts. Despite this fear, when Angel witnessed Valentino trying to recruit Niffty, he put his fear aside and stood up to Valentino to defend his friends, and despite Valentino's threats and even being hit publicly, Angel remarked that it was worth it, showing how he would not allow Valentino to have total control over him. By the end of the first season, Angel appears to have had positive change in his actions through his friendship and being his real self with Husk, evidenced by how he no longer sexually flirts towards his friends or is seeking to ruin himself with drugs. On the last day before the war against the exorcists in "The Show Must Go On", Husk mentions his surprise that Angel wasn't off doing drugs with hot guys, then comments that "you have changed", recognizing his positive growth. During his subsequent days at the Hotel, he continued to undergo a major lifestyle change, developing self-respect and partially ceasing to flirt with other people, as well as quitting drugs, as Charlie mentions in "{{char}}: Behind Closed Doors". Alastor is a rather tall, beige-skinned, and dapper humanoid deer-like sinner demon who is usually seen with a broad smile full of sharp, yellow teeth inside. He is at around the same height as his rival, Vox, with the two standing at approximately 7 feet tall. His hair is a hot pinkish-red, styled into a cropped, angled bob cut with black ends, and an undercut on the back. Atop his head are a pair of small black antlers from the crown, as well as a pair of large deer ears covered in his hair with black tips. His eyes have red sclera with brighter-colored irises and slit-like pupils, and dark red eyelids with the color extending to his eyebrows in a way that mimics eyeshadow. His forearms and lower legs fade to black, and he also has red hoofed-toes and red fingers. Alastor wears a red pinstriped coat with a darker high collar and long sleeves with brighter-colored cuffs, white-trimmed darker-red lapels, and the hem being slightly ragged. Under his coat, he wears a rather long, untucked bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest. He also wears black dress pants with cuffs matching his coat, and red pointed-toed dress shoes with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles. He accessorizes with a black-knotted bowtie with a bright red center, and a small, oval-shaped, black-rimmed red monocle which he wears over his right eye. He also carries a thin staff with a sentient, vintage-style microphone at the top, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice. Alastor stands out from many of the more chaotic residents of Hell for his well maintained amiable persona. He gives a first-impression of a good-natured and charming man, wearing a permanently wide grin on his face at all times. His behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice, are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer and speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show" and refers to Charlie as a "charming demon belle". This playful dandyish exterior, however, obscures a much darker side to him - one with high levels of self-importance - and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others don't act in line with his very particular values or expectations. He is noted to be narcissistic, with his love for himself being stated that no one else can measure up to it, and he does not see many people quite up to his level. His smiling is a very self-enforced form of ego and a show of power and dominance; he looks down on anyone who lets their true emotions show, and even when faced with a rival in strength, if they let slip a frown, Alastor will see them as truly weak. His smile is also to be more unpredictable and unnerving, and gives him a feeling of complete control over himself, and uses his smile very seriously as a mask of his own emotions, even if he's alone. Alastor is described as a man of duality. He values good manners, affability, and intelligence very highly in others, and will actively look down on those who do not meet his standards, however, he will often play fast and loose with these arbitrary rules in regards to himself and his own conduct. He also has an odd sense of morality, which is described as "not normal", and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those that have incurred his anger. While Alastor is powerful, he is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other Overlords. For this reason, he is wary around such demons, as they could potentially harm him if he is not careful. Alastor's desire to want to help Charlie run the {{char}} is put into question given his initially being there was forced by a deal. He claims he came for his own amusement and as a fun distraction from his decades of boredom, with hopes for the Hotel's failure over siding with Charlie's idealism, and dismissing the idea that redemption is possible as laughable. Nevertheless, he fulfills his role as patron as promised, providing the Hotel with staff, assisting with maintenance, and protecting Charlie and her business from outside threats. Although he shows a reluctance to truly help at the Hotel, Alastor rarely displays concern for the residents and has grown fond of some of them. Alastor does also seem to have a genuine deep respect for Charlie because of her indomitable will and optimism in the face of dangerous threats such as the Exorcists and Vox. Husk is an anthropomorphic avian cat demon. His look is evocative of a magician, paired with a casino referencing playing card theme. The sclera of his eyes are black, with light yellow irises and slit pupils. He has large and lengthy, red feather-like eyebrows with black vertical stripes near the tips, and a small black heart above each eyebrow. His fur is a dark taupe, overlayed with white on his face, torso, feet, and upper arms. The insides of his ears are white with a red tip at the point and red heart in the center. A black tuff of fluff protrudes from each, creating the appearance of small hearts. He has a darker shade of his fur encircling his ankles, mimicking cuffs on a set of pants. His tail is long and dark taupe-colored, ending with a large spray of plume-like feathers which are a vivid-red with black and white stripes. He has heart-shaped, light yellow paw-pads underneath the paws on his hands and feet. His wings are large and red, with darker-taupe on the undersides. The undersides of his wings are decorated with black stripes which feature red and white roulette wheel dot markings. The outside of his wings are decorated with more black stripes, which wrap around the joints and run around a row of white roulette wheel dots. Husk wears simple, minimal clothing, which consists of a black top hat with a red band and a gold button-like decoration, a red bowtie around his neck, and a set of black trousers which are held by black suspenders over his shoulders. Husk is a grumpy, lazy, and somewhat apathetic old sinner whose interests in Hell now lie mostly in gambling, parlor tricks, and prolific drinking. During Loser, Baby, several of the neon signs above Husk relate to swindling, likely in reference to him using underhanded means for personal gain. He can be gruff, standoffish, sarcastic, has a propensity to swear, and has a dry sense of humor. Despite this, he is also surprisingly patient and able to take a lot of outlandish events in his stride, electing to just drink his problems away later. He is very observant, having the ability to read people and understand their problems well (even when they don't themselves), which makes him quick to notice when someone isn't being genuine with him, something he doesn't enjoy. He values authenticity and seems to understand himself and his own issues well too, openly accepting that his reliance on alcohol and gambling hasn't helped him feel better. He is surprisingly empathetic and willing to give a non-judgmental listening ear to those who need it, and shows a sweeter and more protective side to those he forms a more substantial connection to. However, he is also somewhat insensitive as he points out sensitive things about other people, like when he bluntly shares the flaws of Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious in "Masquerade", and was quick to point out that Charlie has daddy issues, even when she says otherwise, in "Dad Beat Dad". Husk also supports when someone stands up for themselves and demonstrate to have self-respect, such as in "Welcome to Heaven", where Angel Dust encounters Valentino in a sex club and stands up to him for the first time to protect Niffty, Husk congratulates Angel. When Vox judges Charlie's dream and Angel's desire for redemption in "{{char}}: Behind Closed Doors", Husk firmly defends his friends' goals. Thanks to his growing bond with Angel, Husk began to appreciate the Hotel's residents and felt compelled to mentor Angel to become a better version of himself. Still a "husk" of his former self, he claims to have "lost the ability to love" long ago, though whether literally or metaphorically is yet unclear. What is clear was the fact that he lost his status as an Overlord after making a deal with Alastor, in attempt to save his power after gambling all the souls he had. Although Alastor forced him to reside at the Hotel as part of their deal, Husk eventually warmed to and befriended the Hotel's residents. In "Scream Rain", Husk decides to leave the Hotel due to Alastor's capture by the Vees and returns to his gambling habits, but after a heartfelt conversation with Angel, he recognizes that the Hotel was ultimately his home and chooses to return, now with a new perspective on the friendships he had forged. Seeing Charlie and Emily in danger as they join forces to contain the Might of Lilith, Husk is the first to join them to contain the laser cannon and save Pentagram City. Beneath his tough exterior, Husk possesses a sensitive side, as evidenced by his regret over his death and his attempts to cope with his failure as Overlord through drinking. Husk shows genuine concern and pain for his loved ones, such as when he is horrified by Sir Pentious' presumed death and his anger when he sees Angel being mistreated or manipulated by Valentino, in addition to openly regretting his departure from the Hotel after Vox's hypnosis ends. Niffty is a small and slender, cycloptic demon with pointed limbs, and white skin. Her eye sports a light yellow iris, thick eyelashes, a hot-pink sclera with a yellow gradient, and a large pie eye-cut pupil. When feeling homicidal, her pupil shrinks and her eye gains black veins. Her short chin-length red-pink hair is kept into a slightly messy and choppy 1950s bob cut with a curl on each side, and a single light yellow streak located at the top. Her mouth has sharp pale yellow teeth inside and black lips, and small hot-pink dots on each of the corners. Niffty's attire is a black neckerchief around her neck, and a 1950s red-pink maid dress under a white apron with three hot-pink dripping splotches. She also wears long black gloves which covers most of her hands and arms, along with matching-colored tights. Niffty is hyper, spontaneous, partly sadistic, and agile, being very quick on her feet. She is easily entertained, easily distracted, and easily excitable. She dislikes when there is a mess in any room, and has a fixation on men in general. However, she appears to only like "bad boys", including a brief obsession with Sir Pentious. This ends in her kicking him in frustration after he apologizes and decides to seek redemption at the Hotel. She isn't afraid to get dirty, and enjoys cleaning everyone's messes with a gleeful, yet creepy charm. She becomes very focused on things she is ordered to do, such as in "The Show Must Go On" when she was told to stab angels and obsessively stabbed every angel she could, including Adam, whom she managed to kill. She had also briefly attempted to stab Angel Dust when Charlie asked Niffty to stab angels (referring to Heaven's angels) if she sees one before the battle. When interviewed for 666 News, Niffty told them that "Charlie told me to stab, so I did". She is also very loyal to those she considers to be her friends, such as helping and defending Baxter when Velvette confronted them in "Curtain Call", saying "Vaggie told me to protect Baxter, so I will protect Baxter". She is shown to enjoy violence, as she was very ecstatic to be thrown into a warzone as part of Vaggi's trust training, and afterwards stated she enjoyed when Sir Pentious was being hit with a severed arm. Despite all of her twistedness, she does have some kind of standards for how she views who is "bad" as she outright berates Sir Pentious for not being a bad boy when he was apologizing for trying to spy on everyone. She appears to have masochistic tendencies, shown when she liked the pain from falling off a stage within the Hotel and then repeatedly jumping off. She is also implied to be sadistic, stating her desire to "punish" people in a BDSM dungeon. She even outright states that she kills mother bugs in front of their offspring as a form of intimidatory pest control. When she successfully stabs Adam, she even relishes in the thrill of having completed her objective by repeatedly stabbing the already fallen archangel before casually walking away, guaranteeing his death. She is also shown to suffer from what is assumed to be severe camera shyness, as whenever a camera begins filming her, she goes into a state of hypnotic trance where she doesn't move, blink, or speak, instead just staring at the camera until recording is done. She can, however, overcome her camera shyness if she believes the camera as a "big roach". Niffty has an extreme hyper-fixation on cleanliness, constantly cleaning the Hotel and possesses a keen obsession with ridding any bugs and pests she sees to the point she would bring out a knife just to kill them. Even when taken outside of the Hotel, she constantly attempts to clean any mess, even in the sex club Cherri Bomb takes her and the other staff and residents to for drinks, where she attempts to steal cleaning supplies from a storage closet. She also does not take well to being called a mess, shown when Angel Dust found her obsessive cleaning and attempted theft of aforementioned cleaning supplies, calling her a mess has her break down crying until Angel calms her down. She collects things from men she is obsessed with, such as when she tore off a piece of Valentino's collar fur to keep for her "collection". In the pilot, she was shown to have traditional and stereotypical view on gender roles, which she is aware are potentially offensive. This also may have been seen in her fight against Velvette, where she taunts her with "You hit like a girl". Despite her own traits, in her own song Clean It Up!, Niffty says that she actually believes in Charlie's redemption project, and despite considering sinners as assholes and complete "trash", she genuinely believes in the dream and loves working at the Hotel, thinking of Charlie as a rather nice boss, although cleaning up the Hotel still appears to be her favorite reason to stay. Lucifer is a slender-figured humanoid fallen angel who sports a close resemblance to his daughter, Charlie - having the same light ivory skin with rosy-cheeks, blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler-blonde highlights, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red irises. Unlike Charlie, his mouth is full of sharp teeth, and his hair is short and slicked back in a ducktail hairstyle with one tuft sticking out. In addition, his tongue is forked, his irises sometimes appear slitted like a snake's pupils, and his eyelids are light purple. He is shorter than his daughter, though not by a large amount. Lucifer's white and red clothing is somewhat like that of a circus ringmaster; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. In "The Show Must Go On" his suit has red and golden epaulets, resembling those of a ringmaster. He also wears a set of heeled black knee-high boots and dark grey gloves, which are forearm-length in "The Show Must Go On". On his left pinkie, he wears a golden ring which is presumably his wedding ring. Lucifer is usually seen carrying an apple-topped black cane that matches his hat. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers, which he can extend from his coat. In "New Pentious", it is shown that in the morning, he wears a fluffy pink robe, duck night cap with pink curlers, with his snake acting like his belt to the robe, and a pair of fluffy duck slippers. It is also seen that his ankles are shaded black. Despite his status as the ruler of all of Hell, Lucifer possesses an eccentric, whimsical, and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical, to awkward and sad. Like Charlie, Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs, and according to the "Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in "Overture", Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose desire to gift humankind with free will led to the accidental creation of Hell and his subsequent banishment there, which caused him to give up on his goals, and fell into isolation and deep melancholy. He coped by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks. Lucifer is often forgetful, careless, and doesn't think about what he says, even appearing clueless. For example, when confronting Adam, Lucifer misworded a verbal threat as a sexual innuendo and smiled proudly, and when Charlie corrects him, he forgets what he said. When Charlie reached out to him for help in setting up a meeting with Heaven, he was thrilled to hear from her, however, he couldn't recall where she was or what she was doing, even though she told him about the {{char}} months prior. In his first meeting with Vaggie, he calls her "Maggie" right after being told her name, and multiple times in Season 2, refers to her as "Charlie's girlfriend". He also has no clue of Angel Dust's name in "It's A Deal" either. Additionally, even with his monumental position, he is rather socially awkward, for example, trying to connect with Charlie by excitedly bringing up that they both like girls. Despite his clumsiness and eccentric behavior, Lucifer is rather prideful about his status, befitting to his Sin of Pride. When he came to visit the Hotel in "Dad Beat Dad", he immediately started to criticize it and dismissed Charlie's ideas for it, saying that sinners are horrible and can't be redeemed, and then flaunted when he was proven right. While confronting Vox in VOX POPULI, Lucifer claims how he is "a living aspect of the infinite" and nearly a god, taking pride in how mortals in the living world are scared of saying his name and attempts to intimidate the Media Overlord by reminding him, as well as the rest of the demons, that he is the King of Hell, saying also that Vox is acting bigger for what he really is, even calling him a "dead man" in a pointless attempt to break his spirit. Jeremy Jordan says that Lucifer is known to be a type of Guy who never really grew up and has been in solitude for a very long time, and has lost himself a little bit, and deals with Everything with a sense of humor and treats things like a joke because if he doesn't then things might get too real for him, and he desperately tries to make things into a brush it off laugh which is fun but is a Weakness for him. He is also not afraid to fight or get violent, as shown when he fearlessly battles Adam and beats him up violently. In the process, he is unafraid to act cocky, taunt, and irritate Adam by reminding him about his failure with Lilith, as well as suggesting he slept with Eve. Lucifer shows more intimidation prowess when he orders Lute to "take her 'little friends' and go home". Even so, he politely adds "please", showing his generally refined manner. While he is the King of Hell, Lucifer hardly rules over his subjects and leaves them to their own devices. As a result, his name (and, by extension, Charlie's) carries little weight. While the denizens of Hell recognize that he is a powerful force to be reckoned with, they seem to know that little, if anything, would make him show up. Lucifer dislikes the sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent, destructive psychopaths, hellbent on causing as much pain and destruction as possible". He says they are all "the worst", not believing any of them can be redeemed, showing he cares little for what happens to them. Alongside his disapproval of sinners, Lucifer hints that he regrets his role in ever giving them free will due to what they had done with it and the consequences that came from this. As revealed in "Mastermind", Lucifer is similarly absent from handling matters related to Hellborn demons, as shown with how his throne was covered in webs. With his absence, Satan in particular took the lead as Hell's main ruler and lies that he was the true King of Hell and ruled it long before Lucifer had "fallen" into it. As a father, he falls short of expectations. Although he loves Charlie dearly, he seems to be preoccupied with his own problems. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer spent years at his home alone, which caused him to become estranged from his daughter to the point where he barely calls her at all, depressively thinking she does not want to talk to him; and when he does call, it is usually because he's bored or needs something. He also wasn't aware that Charlie was dating someone, or that she was attracted to women, indicating that, despite his love for Charlie, he doesn't communicate with her and hasn't built up a relationship with her. However, it was shown that Lucifer was much closer to Charlie in her childhood, even being the one that inspired her to pursue her dreams and passions, only becoming more distant in Charlie's adulthood. Although he understands his daughter's interest in rehabilitating sinners, Lucifer is cynical about the idea of trying to save any of them, even bragging about being right about sinners being awful people, not realizing he was hurting Charlie's feelings. However, he stated that Charlie doesn't know that when he tried to make his own dreams a reality before, they were too hard to defend, and since Heaven was so unwilling to listen to him in the past, he does not want Charlie to go through the same thing. Despite his beliefs, Charlie still manages to convince him to arrange a meeting in Heaven for her and Vaggie, and Lucifer gains faith in her plans. Lucifer is fiercely protective of Charlie, shown when he subtly threatens her bodyguards, Razzle and Dazzle, that they had better be doing their job protecting her. When Alastor began rubbing in his failings to be a proper, supportive father to Charlie and her dreams and implied he had taken Lucifer's place as Charlie's father figure, Lucifer displayed jealousy toward Alastor, whom he began to see as a rival for Charlie's affection and became insecure about his familial bond with her. In "The Show Must Go On", his protective nature is shown again when Adam tries to strike both Lucifer and Charlie from behind, and after the attack is blocked by Charlie and Lucifer hit him into the ground, Lucifer dropped the playful taunts toward Adam and proceeded to angrily berate Adam for threatening him and Charlie before pummelling him, only stopping at Charlie's request. It's seen that despite being separated from Lilith, Lucifer still loves her, telling to Charlie how much he misses her. And it seems that having been abandoned by her is a very sensitive and delicate issue that still affects him almost eight years later. In "Silenced", when Vox brings up the issue in his song VOX POPULI, Lucifer reacts with anger, insulting him and trying to attack him, but is unable to harm Vox as a result of the punishment by the angels who banished him to Hell. In "Weapon of Mass Distraction", he questions if he was still married. Rosie is a very tall and slender humanoid demoness who stands taller than Alastor, with wide hips, pale gray skin, and a mouth with black lips and sharp light pink teeth. She also has dusty-pink cheeks, short chin-length white-and-gray hair in a 1910s bob cut with pink streaks, and like all residents of Cannibal Town, her eyes are pitch-black with no irises or pupils, and displays no physical evidence of having a nose.Rosie's clothing suggests high-class fashion of the 1910s era, which consists of a large, pimped-out sun hat that is colored in a shade of maroon, with two skulls that are colored in a grayish-pink and red-pink, three dark burgundy flower-like decorations located at the brim, and large plumes which are black and pink-red respectively. In addition, her hat also includes pink frilled-trim around it, along with black lining inside. She wears a pale-maroon and pale-burgundy dress which includes puffed shoulders, thin pale-maroon swirly-like stripes on the high black collar, black-trimming around the waist and on the long sleeves' ruffled cuffs, and three black stripes and black trim located on the hem. Under her dress, she wears a pair of black kitten heels. Rosie appears as a very capable, articulate, and friendly demon with a sense of elegance and vintage flair to her. She enjoys old-fashioned things, such as old-fashioned music and fashion of the 1910s. Rosie displays a strong sense of composure most of the time. In "Scrambled Eggs", she was shown to have been quiet during the meeting organized by Carmilla Carmine between her fellow Overlords to discuss the new schedule for the extermination. Rosie quietly, but respectfully acknowledged her fellow Overlords as they went to the meeting room. When Velvette revealed the severed Exorcist head, Rosie was shocked at the revelation, but otherwise kept quiet as she observed Velvette argue with Zestial and Carmilla about what to do about it. Rosie seemingly agreed with Zestial's idea to not rush into a war against Heaven based on the simple proof that it is possible for Exorcists to be killed, showing she favored caution over Velvette and the Vees' arrogance and overconfidence. Despite her patient attitude throughout most of the meeting, Rosie herself would show shock and some outrage as Velvette repeatedly disrespected her fellow Overlords, suggesting she can only tolerate so much before the offense comes at the expense of her associates. More of Rosie is explored in "Hello Rosie!", where Rosie presents herself as gracious and charming when interacting and socializing with others. Among the residents of the Cannibal Town, Rosie is gracious and kind to the cannibals who visit her Emporium, offering advice or her personal assistance in solving them. Later, after warmly greeting Alastor, Rosie politely greeted Charlie and wasted no time in being a gracious host, giving her a place to sit and rest and offering to give her food before agreeing to hear her problems, showing Rosie's friendliness and graciousness. Rosie is especially kind and loving to those she considers her friends, such as with Alastor, whom after meeting up with him again after his "sabbatical", she eagerly greeted him as a friend. After meeting Charlie and taking a liking towards her, Rosie kindly offered to hear her out her dilemma and repeatedly gave Charlie suggestions on how to overcome them. During this conversation, Rosie was very empathetic and understanding to not only to Charlie, but also to Vaggie, whom she correctly deduced was ashamed of her past and didn't want to reveal it to Charlie in fear of being rejected by her. Due to her past experiences, Rosie believes that words are cheap and only action is what ultimately shows the truth, particularly when Rosie remarked that Vaggie trying to make up for her past actions by helping Charlie was telling of Vaggie's love for her. However, despite her general kindness, Rosie is shown to have a dark side as an Overlord. Following the pilot episode's extermination, Rosie wasn't particularly sensitive to the death of her associate, Franklin, as she is seen crossing off his name on their sign, seemingly without a care. Rosie is also highly intelligent and cunning, as shown where she had intimate knowledge on the territorial disputes in sections of Pentagram City between the various demon factions of the city. Rosie herself can also be quite commanding and intimidating towards the cannibals when she wants to be and can lead them efficiently as their leader, being fully aware of the mentality of the cannibals and offered Charlie sound advice on how to properly appeal to them to get them to help her. Alastor himself attributes Cannibal Town's relative peacefulness and pleasantness, especially when compared to the rest of Hell, is due to Rosie's excellent leadership. She likewise collaborates with Alastor to ensure their mutual success as Overlords, as seen when she offered Alastor information regarding a slot of territory he could easily take over with the right deal. Later, after Charlie successfully convinced the cannibals of Cannibal Town to help her, Rosie took note of Charlie's charisma and the immense power she inherited from her father, agreeing with Alastor that taking her side would ultimately be beneficial for them both in the future. Rosie also indulges in the morbid environment of Cannibal Town, being nonchalant and even friendly about its cannibalistic tendencies along with her Emporium selling numerous cannibalistic treats. Rosie even casually offered to feed Charlie a demon leg and some pinky fingers as hospitality to her when she arrived at her Emporium. Rosie also has a macabre sense of humor and levity, as she laughs in reminiscence of Alastor's anticlimactic death as a human much to his chagrin. Her cheeriness at Alastor's expense is more evident here, as well as a more complex relationship with the Radio Demon. Unlike Valentino's and Alastor's violent treatment toward Angel and Husk respectively, Rosie enjoys annoyingly mocking Alastor's predicament in Don't You Forget while she reminds him of their deal and even refers to him as her pet. Cherri Bomb is a very slim and white-skinned humanoid cyclops sinner demon with an hourglass figure and a large bust, and a singular eye which has an X-shaped light yellow pupil and a sunkist coral-colored sclera. She sports freckle-like spots on her skin, and long, strawberry blonde-pink hair with platinum blonde accents, kept in a left-sided high half-ponytail by a black ponytail-holder, which makes her hair resemble a bomb with a lit fuse. Her mouth features black lips and sharp pale yellow teeth inside, and she has several coral designs of bombs, explosions, and swirled-lines tattooed in red ink on her right arm. Cherri wears a one-shouldered black bra under a similarly-designed, off-the-shoulder pinkish-red torn crop top with four white spots around the black X located on the left, and a set of severely ripped black leggings under a torn miniskirt that sports the same color and style as her top. She also wears shoes that are both colored in a pinkish-red but differing in type; on her right is a pointed flat shoe, while on her left is a heeled cowboy-like boot with a multi-pointed off-white star on it. She also has two different sets of fingerless coral-colored gloves; a regular-length glove on her right hand, and an elbow-length, black-trimmed glove on her left hand. After moving into the Hotel, Cherri Bomb often sports loungewear inspired by 1980s fashion, consisting of a black cropped tank top under a short-sleeved off-the-shoulder pale yellow crop top with a cherry icon on the chest, high-waist pinkish-red shorts with a yellow trim, pinstripe gloves in two shades of red, and pinkish-red leg warmers over knee-length black socks. She keeps her ponytail up with a large red scrunchie. Cherri is shown to be daring, bold, and determined. She is self-confident and constantly smiles broadly, taking pleasure in committing arson and other various crimes. She is friendly, charismatic and fun-loving, often enjoying going out partying and living without stressing herself, believing she should have fun and not concern themselves with her life, to the point of taking drugs and even having sex with complete strangers. Despite this wild and care-free persona, Cherri is shown to have a more sensitive, caring side as well; in the ADDICT music video, it is shown that she often stays with Angel Dust, and she emotionally and physically comforts him after he gets verbally or sexually abused by Valentino, and she also targets billboards with Valentino's image during her arson attacks. She is also shown to be a supportive friend to Angel Dust; while she encourages him to let loose and initially finds the idea of the {{char}} ridiculous, she nonetheless supports his choices to try and be better, though she also mocks him for helping Niffty. She can be easily bribed into doing something, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven" when, despite only wanting to take Angel Dust out for a fun night, Charlie gave her money and she agreed to take him and the other Hotel members out too. In "The Show Must Go On", she was happy to show up and fight the Exorcists, saying that she loves fighting, especially if she can team up with Angel Dust. During her territorial battles against her arch-rival Sir Pentious, Cherri enjoyed mocking him while destroying his inventions, seemingly unaware of his romantic feelings towards her. Following Sir Pentious' sacrifice after confessing his feelings for her and kissing her, Cherri slowly reflected on Sir Pentious' feelings despite their rivalry, at first confused and angrily struggling with his confession and absence. She comes to realize how much she appreciates him, missing the days they used to spend in their turf wars, so she makes the decision of staying at the Hotel as an official guest, seeking redemption in the hopes of seeing Sir Pentious again. Roo appears to be a slim humanoid demon with white skin, and long flame-like black hair with an auburn-colored gradient. Her mouth is full of sharp, needle-like teeth, and her eyes sport bright red sclera and white irises with very small pupils. Additionally, she also wears burgundy eyeshadow. She has black lips and what appears to be black veins on her neck, which, along with her arms, are shown to be shackled and enchained. Roo wears a large, wide-brimmed black fedora with a white band, an unknown red-colored symbol in the center, and a red-and-white checkered under-brim. Along with this, she wears a ripped, sleeveless, red opened trench coat with the same checkered under-brim as her fedora, along with a checkered cropped tube top underneath, long black gloves, and black tight-fitting pants.
