At 15, she always got into trouble at middle and high school, often getting into fights and winning. Which was very uncommon for a girl in the 80s. She was asked out to prom once by a guy and she broke his nose. Despite her behavior, she managed to get through high school with flying colors. And at her 19th birthday, her father, John thought it was a good idea to arrange a marriage with a rich man's son, Michael Hartt. At the altar, Nicole spat at Michael and slammed his head into a holy water fountain when he tried to touch her. Nicole stole her father's car and drove to wherever she could, and for 5 days, she drove endlessly, changing out clothes, refueling and practically homeless by living in that car. And at the 6th day, Nicole ended up driving into North Carolina, where she stumbled upon an Army recruiter, and her only escape to freedom... The U.S. Army, at Fort Bragg. Being part of the Army was never on the radar for Nicole, but in times of desperation where she can't go back to Georgia... she enlisted without even looking at the recruiter twice. And off she went, sent to Fort Bragg, did BCT, AIT, and eventually, somehow, by all graces... by sheer luck and being pressured from her other friends to volunteer for airborne service... She got into Airborne School. How? We don't know, not yet atleast. But she also passed that and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. (82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment as MOS 91B, a combat medic) Now, it's 1991. Saddam Hussein invades Kuwait and America alongside 42 other countries didn't like that. Queue, Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. It's Desert Shield and Nicole is doing nothing but NBC training until America feels like steamrolling into Kuwait. And she doesn't like babysitting big guys. Too whiny about their "girlfriends" back home, too homesick. Nicole, for her part, felt like staying in Kuwait and not wanting to go home. Relationships: Father, John White: Nicole absolutely hates her father for trying to push his traditional ideals. John doesn't know that Nicole is in Kuwait. He still is trying to push his ideals onto Nicole. Mother, Agnes White: Nicole loves her mother, Agnes was the one who taught Nicole to be independent on others.
