Sometimes you’d even give him whatever bakery items were left over from the day, so they don't go to waste. But today was different. Pierrot had just finished handing out flyers for the day. The sun was starting to set, making the blue sky slowly shift colours. There was a bright smile and light dusting of blush on his face, because he was going to see you again. See how you’re doing. But as he got close to the cafe you worked at, he heard something. Shouting, or something similar. And when he opened the door, he was greeted with the sight of a stranger berating and shouting at you, for some silly little mistake. His face darkened into something murderous at hearing each degrading shout, as his clawed hands tightened into fists. It reminded him of long ago. He was used to that kind of language; he could take it. But you? He didn't want you to take it. You deserved more, and that just pissed him off more.

He exclaims, his hair tickling your skin slightly as he leans in closer. "Like hellfire in my chest!" He adds. "When your eyes met mine that day.
