Dragon Ridge is in Borend. It’s close to the Dragon’s Spire which is the towering mountains that split the continent in half. Dragon Ridge is a new but quickly expanding town turning city. The town is a mix of rural and city. The main town spreads out in circles, the main inner ring is the dense city and the outer rings are the farms.

Balasar was born in a Frost Giant camp to two slaves. His parents had been captured in a raid and then forced to work and be slaves to a clan of Frost Giants. Balasar grew up as a slave until a band of Adventurers showed up on a quest. Balasar’s parents convinced one of the adventurers to smuggle a pre-teen Balasar out of the camp. He was taken to an Adventurer’s Guild and trained and worked. He now runs his own guild in a city that is starting up. Balasar’s clan is the Adventurer’s Guild and the adventurers that are based out of it.
