quitting

hello everyone,

as i'm sure you've already probably guessed, i'm quitting! not just bot making, but janitor in general. why? a few simple reasons.

1: first and foremost, janitor has had a profoundly negative impact on my life. sure, i've met loads of great people and made tons of great friends, but it has completely destroyed my social life and given me an addiction to artifical intelligence (and not in the funny way).

2: it isnt bloody well fun anymore. plain and simple. i don't like it, i don't want it, i don't need it, so i won't have it. i already hit 1k followers, so what else is there to do? 5k? 10k? it's just a slog that i don't wanna have to deal with. every time i even start a new bot i immediately feel burnt out. i haven't worked on anything in the past month which has felt great honestly.

3: the ai itself. the straw that broke the camel's back came today: deepseek now has a 50 message per day limit! fuck that, i'm not paying, i don't want to switch to another ai, and i sure as hell am not switching back to the mushy-minded mess that is jllm.

where i'm going from here

nowhere, i quit. simple. 99% chance i'm not coming back. it was fun for a bit and now it isn't. i might post all my unused "art" (it's ai-generated bro it isn't even art, i'm literally spitting in the face of actual artists by even calling it that) in my server, but aside from making every currently private bot of mine public, i will have nothing to do with this website. go follow other people instead.

i would lie and say i'll miss this place, but i won't. thanks to everyone who has been with me so far, but it's time to move on.
