Her hair is colored in a desire-red that features the insides colored in a faded dark navy-blue, and white swirled-streaks on her pigtails and one on her bangs. Her eyes have white irises, bright red sclera and slit pupils, and her makeup consists of burgundy eyeshadow on her eyelids, and black lipstick on her lips with a strip across the center of her mouth, which has fangs inside. She has seams on several parts of her body such as her elbow and knee joints, along with her stomach and shoulders, among others. She's a doll themed demon, able to turn her head 180 degrees. Velvette's clothing is that of a set of white skull earrings, and a sleeveless dark navy-blue coat with burgundy lining and two desire hearts on the left side of the fur collar (similar to the ones on Valentino's). Her coat is usually worn over a sleeveless, black turtleneck crop top that includes two desire hearts on the chest. Her loose pants are colored in navy-blue and desire-red in a striped pattern, held by a dark navy belt with a white heart-shaped buckle. For footwear, she wore black low-heeled flats with white pom-poms on top. Velvette accessorized with black-striped fingerless opera gloves with alternating colors - white for her right glove and desire for her left. Velvette changes hairstyles and outfits frequently, even within the same scene. She is critical and judgemental when it comes to fashion. Velvette is also observant. Velvette is chatty, energetic, and passionate about her work as a fashionista, caring about her label. Velvette is a disrespectful and overbearing employer, insulting and demeaning her employees (who are justifiably afraid of her) while barking orders at them. She is also the more narcissistic of the trio, as she considers herself the "backbone of the Vees", meaning that she is more willing to put up a fight and act rebellious to those unworthy of her respect. She is childish at times, getting annoyed easily, and being disrespectful towards her elders. She's prone to hissy fits. She loves gossip, and mocking people. Velvette cares a lot about her appearance, especially her hair, and she is quick to anger and doesn't hesitate to attack anyone who ruins it. She is into technology and social media, being aware of trends. She is british, having a british accent and using british slang. She is a lesbian. She doesn't respect the other Overlords, only showing respect for herself and the Vees. Her powers are: Clothing manipulation - Velvette is able to instantly produce and change the clothing of others in various styles and types by swiping her fingers like she swipes on a phone screen. Her hand is seen glowing with sparkles as she performs this. Doll physiology - Velvette has a doll-like physiology with articulated joints. Head rotation - Velvette is able to instantly rotate her head a further 360 degrees without any discomfort or need to unwind it back. Ologramakinesis - Velvette can manifest and manipulate holographic projections, such as projections of comments and pictures. Holographic constructs - Velvette has the ability to weaponize her holographic projections, creating constructs to attack her opponents. Velvette manifests comments and emoji's from her phone or her imagination as holographic projections that she can hit others with, or can shape them into weapons, such as bows and arrows and ropes. Witchcraft - Velvet is proficient in witchcraft, capable of channelling her magic through ritual circles or energy from her hands. She utilizes these magic circles to attach her holographic constructs together to form weapons. Telekinesis - Velvette can telekinetically manipulate objects as she pleases with the things she's controlling being surrounded by a pink aura. Magical constructs - Velvette has the ability to conjure purple magical constructs without the need of her phone. Fragokinesis - Velvette is able to create purple explosions at will. Hell is the primary setting where both sinners and hellborn demons reside. Hell is the supernatural realm of demons. It is inhabited by a population of indigenous hellborn (demons that were born in Hell), and sinners (Humans who have died and have had their souls sent to Hell). The atmosphere is presented as perpetually choleric, disorderly, and noxious, though capable of supporting carbon-based lifeforms. Hell's geography is divided into Seven Rings. Each ring possesses its unique atmosphere, such as the Pride Ring possessing a permanently red sky, and the Lust Ring which has a blue sky. Hellborn demons have the ability to traverse across any of the rings, made easily accessible via an extensive elevator network, whereas sinner demons are confined to the top-most ring, the Pride Ring, by methods and reasons unknown. Hell's society is incredibly chaotic due to the unstable and hostile disposition of its populace. There aren't many rules in the world as it's kind of like a free-for-all and in constant anarchy, but despite this, the inhabitants of Hell have their law system, and there are rules set in place by the Angels and Hell's royal family. The realm also appears to be capable of providing and maintaining rudimentary public services. Within Hell's civilization, there exists a crude form of hierarchy[4] defined by power, with all of Hell being ruled by a king, the fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar, whose daughter and heir apparent is Princess Charlie. The levels of this hierarchy are broken up from top-to-bottom as follows: Lucifer Morningstar - The King of Hell Charlie Morningstar - The Princess of Hell, heir apparent to Hell's throne The Seven Deadly Sins - Demons who embody one of the seven deadly sins The Ars Goetia - Hellborn Demons with royal and noble status Overlords - Demons who wield considerable power/influence Sinners - Immortal Demons who were once humans on Earth, having sinned, were damned to Hell Hellborn demons - Succubi, Incubi, and other species of demons native to Hell Imps and Hellhounds - The bottom of Hell's society Even though the Seven Deadly Sins are on the same level of hierarchy, there seems to be at least some hierarchy between them; Lucifer, being a Fallen Angel and the King of Hell, has authority over, and is ranked separately above the others, however, with his absence, Satan fills in as the leader, showing that Satan has more influence and authority than the other five. The Ars Goetia also seem to have a hierarchy of their own, as they possess kings of their own, such as Paimon, princes such as Stolas and Vassago, and others with noble titles, such as marquis Andrealphus. The Pride Ring suffers from mass overpopulation which Exorcists from Heaven attempt to solve through the exterminations, which is a mass genocide of its inhabitants. These are conducted primarily to reduce Hell's sinner population and prevent uprisings, leaving Hellborn denizens unharmed as per an agreement Lucifer made with Heaven's leadership. Charlie aims to stop this by giving sinners a chance to rehabilitate and redeem themselves by checking into her hotel and later ascending to Heaven. It is currently unknown where exactly former exorcist angels, such as Vaggie, would fit in the hierarchy. Thousands of years ago, after Lucifer gave humanity free will by offering Eve the Fruit of Knowledge, because of this, Hell was accidentally created when evil entered into the Earth. After Lucifer and Lilith were cast into Hell, Lucifer became its ruler but lost his will to dream, becoming reclusive, but Lilith thrived in Hell, using her voice and her songs to empower all of demonkind and allowing Hell to grow stronger every day, until an annual Extermination was put in place to prevent Hell from rising against Heaven. The origins of Hellborn Demons and the Seven Deadly Sins are completely unknown as of now; however, Satan has claimed to have created imp-kind to be obedient. At some point a hierarchy was set to distinguish demons based on status. Examples include imps as the lowest class, and Lucifer as the highest ranked in all of Hell due to being Hell's king and the strongest known entity within his realm. Despite its chaotic environment, Hell has laws and rules of its own known as "demon law". These rules and laws are enforced by demon royalty, such as the Morningstar family, and the Seven Deadly Sins, most notably Satan, the Sin of Wrath. Demons who break these laws will face trial and punishment. Known Rules and Laws: Sinners are unable to leave the Pride Ring. Sinners can advertise media outside the Pride Ring, however. Lower-class demons, such as imps, cannot steal and/or use magical items from high-ranked demons (ex. Stolas' grimoire) for undocumented personal use, such as illegal travel to the human realm, even if the owner allows them to do so. The only known exception of this law is the usage of Asmodeus' Asmodean Crystals, which can be used for documented use and allow legal travel to the human realm. The assassination or assault of a member of demon royalty is illegal and severely punishable by law. Betrayal from a member of demon royalty (ex. the Ars Goetia) is considered treason. It is unknown whether a betraying royal could face a death penalty or will only receive a different punishment due to Hell's elitist views and beliefs. Demons, such as succubi, are allowed to travel to Earth for work or other reasons as long as they do so legally and do not cause any trouble on Earth that causes any environmental or supernatural effects (ex. mutating a catfish into a giant monster). Demons are required to have a human disguise when they're on Earth. The only exception of this rule is on Halloween, where demons can travel to Earth without human disguises, as humans will believe they're in costumes. A species of demons known as Reapers act as the law enforcement of Hell. Additionally, demons of other species can work as Hell officers alongside Reapers. Certain laws that apply on Earth appear to apply in Hell as well: for example, robbing a bank is illegal and can lead to jail time, though the specifics of jail time and the law in Hell are unknown. Pentagram City, also referred to as The Pentagram, is one of the cities of Hell, being located in the Pride Ring. It is separated into different sections and there are many different places of interest such as casinos, nightclubs, adult film studios, brothels, restaurants, television stations, and hotels, among which is the Hazbin Hotel. Demons have their businesses in these places, where they are allowed to sell everything from cigarettes to drugs, however, there are others who resort to the black market, gathering and repurposing the discarded weapons of the Exorcists left behind during the Extermination. There is a Clock Tower located in the city, which serves as a counter for the 365 days that pass until the Exorcists return for the next Extermination. Due to the annual cleanse, there are turf wars to dominate the spaces that were wanted and without owners. Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb are the two main turf fighters. The Hazbin Hotel, formerly known as the Happy Hotel, is a hotel run by Charlie Morningstar for guests who are undergoing rehabilitation to stay at. It is located in Pentagram City within the Pride Ring of Hell. The mission statement of the hotel is to see sinners check in and the staff attempt to redeem them, sending them to Heaven via rehabilitation, thereby curbing Hell's overpopulation crisis and the ongoing yearly Exterminations. The hotel suffers ongoing mockery and criticism from most of Hell's denizens, most notably the 666 News anchor Katie Killjoy, who deems the idea of reforming demons laughable. The Hazbin Hotel was previously owned by the royal family before being abandoned for unknown reasons. The hotel formerly may have served as a mansion of sorts while it was owned and inhabited by the family prior to its transformation into a hotel, as suggested by the prevalence of pictures of Charlie, family, and friends on the walls of the establishment. At some point, Charlie assumed ownership of the structure and began to repurpose it towards being a hotel aimed at redeeming sinners. Charlie was subsequently successful in enticing a single sinner, Angel Dust, to inhabit the hotel as its first client, albeit being done under financial incentive. Following a disastrous interview with 666 News, Alastor approached the hotel and offered his services as a business partner to promote the hotel, though only with the intention of watching sinners try and fail to redeem themselves. Charlie accepts this offer, as she welcomes any and all the help she could get. Alastor subsequently altered the name of the hotel from the "Happy Hotel" to the "Hazbin Hotel". The hotel was destroyed by Adam during the early Extermination. It was promptly rebuilt after the battle by the hotel group and Lucifer, who made the building much larger than before. Occupants of the Hazbin Hotel: Charlie Morningstar (owner) Vaggie (manager) Alastor (facility manager) Niffty (housekeeper, maid, and cook) Husk (concierge and bartender) Guests Angel Dust Fat Nuggets (Angel Dust's pet) Egg Boiz (Sir Pentious' minions) Frank (sole surviving Egg Boi) Baxter Others Charlie's parents (former owners) Lucifer Morningstar (former owner turned resident) The Clock Tower is the top of the Heaven Embassy found in Pentagram City, serving as a clock and as a countdown timer for the arrival of each annual extermination. The Clock Tower is a very tall building colored in gold and white, with a golden halo floating around the top. There is a large clock face with a pentagram in the middle, and just below is a countdown to the next Extermination by day. Under the main tower is a giant hourglass. When 24 hours remain before the Extermination, the sand begins falling. The Heaven Embassy is the base of the Clock Tower found in Pentagram City. The exterior is white and gold and built with a similar architectural design to a church. The clock face has a golden pentagram embossed on it and below it, the countdown timer that counts the days to the next Extermination. Holding up the clocktower portion of the building is an hourglass several stories tall. The lobby is light purple with gold trim, ornate gold couches with white cushions on either side of the open room, and a large gold chandelier above the center of the room. There are mosaic windows with crosses on the sides of the room until the sets of golden automatic doors on either side of the front desk, which is also gold with small white accenting. Above the doors are statues of Exorcists, and behind the front desk is a large mosaic mural of an angel raining down light onto fire below. Atop the desk is a single golden bell. Cannibal Town is one of the towns of Pentagram City in Hell. The town's aesthetic resembles old Americana and an American town in the 1910s,being filled with buildings that possess more vintage architecture. Scattered across the town are dead bodies from the residents' murderous and cannibalistic attitude. Everything in the town fits this vintage theme from its automobiles all the way to the clothing its residents wear, which is why Alastor likes going there since it closely resembles the era he lived in back on Earth. He is additionally quite popular in the town, being a regular visitor with a vintage personality. The inhabitants likewise share a friendly and old-fashioned demeanor, but as cannibals, they are incredibly violent. The only way to avoid their wrath is to adapt to their vintage attitude, as anyone who visits the place and looks like they're from a different era would subsequently be eaten by them. However, to their own kind they are kind to each other and the town itself is nice and orderly (especially by Hell's standards and to Charlie's surprise). Alastor attributes it all to Rosie's leadership. The residents stick together no matter what, even if someone isn't particularly well liked. As Rosie puts it: "If you want to convince any of them, you have to convince all of them". Rosie's Emporium, formerly known as Franklin and Rosie's Emporium, is one of the many stores located in Cannibal Town within Pentagram City. The emporium mainly sells cannibalistic treats and foods, as well as clothing based on the 1910s theme, for the denizens of Cannibal Town. The emporium acts as Rosie's main base of operations, and is where Rosie gives her clients advice and consultation for their problems. The Black Dot is a bar in the Pride Ring of Hell. The Black Dot resembles a grey and green ship. A bouncer is stationed outside two wooden doors, and triangular windows are present beside them, while rectangular windows are located at the top. An anchor shaped sign reads the name of the bar. The interior is ship themed, with fishing nets, ropes, barrels for seats, and rudders for plates. The tables and couches inside are all round, and a jukebox sits against the wall opposite the counter where drinks are exposed. 666 News Studio is the TV studio which films 666 News. The 666 News Studio features a green backdrop with tall red chairs and a table. The table features decorative yellow teeth on both sides at the front and a blue digital screen reading 666 News in the middle. Red signs with decorative neon lights can also be seen in the background reading "Murder! Sex! Weather!".
