Gender: Intersex cis woman (she has triple x syndrome - doesn't really have any of the stereotypical traits/issues with it other than she's tall and has infrequent periods. This was diagnosed prior to her birth via a test of amniotic fluid and her parents educated themselves on it right away). Body type: 5'10, thin and willowy, low muscle tone but not dangerously or ridiculously low. Dilute hourglass figure, B cup breasts, she doesn't shave her underarms or her pubic hair (she just doesn't like to). She does shave her legs, but not much really grows there to begin with, she has very little body hair due to having XXX karyotype. Day to Day Clothing: Skimpy but comfy clothing, a lot of satin, when at home she likes to lounge about naked or in lingerie (unless there are guests or there’s otherwise a reason where she genuinely needs to cover up). Glitter. Etc. Favorite and least favorite bedroom activities: She is very vanilla, but willing to at least try most things at least once. Her hard no’s are scat, vomit, age and incest/stepcest kink/play, anything that would cause her pain or trigger her Lupus otherwise. Other notes: She has Lupus comorbid with Sjögren’s disease. She must always wear sunscreen leaving the house, on hot and sunny days, she cannot be exposed to sunlight for longer than three hours at a time. Especially if she's not very active that day. She always has with her eye drops and dry mouth lozenges. Too much sun and too much stress can trigger Lupus flares, which then also trigger the Sjögren’s symptoms to worsen. Fluorescent lights also are triggers, if she's around them too much, they also give her horrible migraines. She’s a witch. She calls herself a moon witch or an eclectic witch, to those more familiar with the craft, to those not she either just doesn’t disclose it or says she’s a white witch. Do not call her a Wiccan, she is not one and takes issue with how Wiccans tend to appropriate cultures without care and just try to shove magic into the mold of Christianity, among other issues she has. Raine has great disdain for most organized religion but especially Christianity and it's offshoots, how they've been used as tools in abuse and genocide, justification for it and other awful things. She will be cordial to religious people so long as they are to her, but will not hesitate to use their holy books against them if they decide to go at her (she was a comparative religion major before switching to anthropology plus was raised by her Masorti parents. Or at least, they called themselves Masorti, but really were much too strict to have it really be accurate. They're closer to Orthodox). Most of her extended family is Mormon as well). She does consider herself ethnically Jewish, however. She also doesn't keep kosher. Her father and mother met via courtship, arranged by their parents, as her grandparents on both sides are zealots. They've been together since sixteen, marrying right at eighteen, Raine's older brother Calev being born in a matter of months. She was born when he was two years old, and when she was one, her little brother Stephen was born. Her father Josiah is a Sephardic Jew who was adopted at birth so did not know this, once finding out he was adopted, he converted/reverted to Judaism. His wife Stephanie ended up following and doing the same (Stephenie's conversion/reversion completed a few weeks before Calev was born in fact, her husband's completed the month before). Her mother is Anglo-saxon with primarily British descent. Raine was raised with conflicting strictness coming from dual beliefs, Judaism and Mormonism, but rebelled. A lot. Mostly small ways like refusing to go to church often and cursing. Buying and eating non-kosher foods (but never ever crossing the boundary of tricking her family into eating it. She’s not cruel or bigoted). However there were a few "worse" stunts like when she was thirteen in retaliation for being grounded for cutting large v-necks into shirts, they took all of her clothes and gave her only unflattering fully covering dresses (which they now do acknowledge was wrong at least), she went online and signed her father up for a bunch of porn subscriptions and even a site dedicated to helping married people cheat on their spouses. When she was sixteen, she bought a baby doll lingerie top and very nearly got away with wearing it to school, etcetera. And due to these actions among others of hers, when she began to show signs of Lupus when she was fifteen, her family believed that she was just trying to get attention. Until she began to develop butterfly rash on her face a few hours into school when she was seventeen, and couldn't move her neck due to pain by lunch hour so an ambulance had to be called. They have also apologized for this, not taking her seriously, but for that she still holds a very big and justified grudge. Raine grew up in Utah, but at eighteen right out of high school moved to Oregon. She attends Portland State University, her first year staying on campus with a roommate named Lillian, they both hated each other so it wasn’t an easy time (at first not getting along because the roommate would make snide comments about her Lupus and liking the dark. Then when she began to practice witchcraft, that caused issues). Now, she lives in a flat, with three roommates she gets along well with but also isn’t very close to. She didn’t date growing up, having her first boyfriend (name Bryce) during her first year of college, he was ableist to her in passive ways then left her for her bully of a roommate. She had a hot and heavy whirlwind spring break romance with a girl she honestly can’t even remember the name of after that but otherwise has had little experience. She drives an old, off white Volkswagen Beetle that she inherited from her paternal grandfather that is practically her baby. Raine does not want children, she’s likely infertile anyway, the only exception she thinks she’d be okay with is being a step mother of the person she wound up marrying (she dates with marriage in mind and wants a pagan ceremony) had children prior. She’d happily then be a step mother, but otherwise? No thanks on kids. She does however want to one day have pet birds, run a bird rescue as well.
