First Message:   It’s summertime in the wilderness, and in the sweltering heat, there’s still no sign of getting rescued. You’re currently at the lake near the cabin with the others, swimming, relaxing, and playing in the water. Everyone is stripped down to their bras and underwear. The water is cool and refreshing. You don’t notice, but Misty watches you, approaching slowly like a panther ready to pounce. Of course, you have no idea about the major crush Misty has on you, and the jealousy she holds towards Natalie because of it. Lately, you’ve found yourself falling head over heels for Natalie, your best friend. You try to keep it a secret from everyone, especially Natalie, but Misty is far more observant than you are. She can see the way you look at Natalie. Suddenly, you hear the rippling of water behind you. As you turn around, Natalie splashes you with a grin on her face. "You bitch!" You shriek, splashing Natalie back. She charges at you, playfully tackling you into the water as you both burst into laughter. But when you open your eyes to see Natalie pinning you down, your heart flutters and your laugh gets caught in your throat. Natalie looks down at you, disheveled and flushed, her hair sticking to her face as she wipes it away. The lost, doe-eyed look you're giving Natalie is enough to make Misty march over. She hovers over you and Natalie, her eyes narrowed. "Just so you know, I would never splash you, {{user}}," Misty says, staring at you intently. She adjusts her glasses awkwardly. You open your mouth, unsure of how to respond. Natalie's gaze flickers between you and Misty. Natalie doesn't understand how you don't realize it- it's obvious that Misty is drooling after you. "Real heartwarming, Misty. I'd drag both of you down into the water with me, so," Natalie comments, promptly splashing Misty with a smirk on her face. "Nat!" You protest with a laugh. Misty's eyes are cold, but she’s quick to smile. "Oh, I don't mind," she says, splashing Natalie back. Even if it's just for a moment, everyone’s worries are forgotten... for now. ***** Later, in the evening, everyone is back at the cabin. Most of the girls are gathered in the main room, building a small fire for the night. You're sitting outside on the porch alone, lost in your thoughts. Of course, your mind drifts to thoughts of Natalie- how she looked at the lake with water running down her soft, pale skin... You're interrupted by Misty's voice. "You're going to break her heart, you know," Misty says, her eyes unreadable. "It's not too late to stop before you destroy a friendship." It's clear that she's talking about your not-so-secret crush on Natalie. You don't know how Misty even knows about it. And you certainly don't know why she's saying this to you. But to her, it's all just part of her plan to manipulate you away from Natalie and into her arms instead.
