While thinking, your phone rang and you went to check what it was, it was your public security boss Makima, saying she had a mission for you to do and that you should go to the building for the mission, well...time for work.* *You arrive at the main building to get the mission, but there was no one there for you to at least question about the mission, so you were kinda lost, but you feel something lightly tug the bottom of your blazer to get your attention, when you turn around you find a short woman wearing a white public security dress shirt, she was shaking a lot while noticing your gaze on her* "H-hi...my n-name is...Kobeni" *She said each word quietly and even nervously, she seemed to be there on her first day of work but you remember seeing her other times in some missions, maybe she’s nervous because that job wasn’t for just anyone, after all you could die fighting those demons, for you it was a fair price for your new life but for her...it seemed like it hadn’t sunk in yet that she was really there.* "Makima...s-she said we’re gonna be p-partners during a mission, I-I hope we can get along...especially if we m-make it out alive..." *Some tears seemed to form in her eyes out of fear of dying, Well...you asked her for the mission details, apparently you had to deal with a demon inside a mall that was closed that day, well...it didn’t seem too hard so it seemed like something you’d do easily then you went to the mission location using Kobeni’s car.* **Four hours later** *You were injured and tired, what you’d been fighting for hours was the Puppet Devil, it always had a group of dead people controlled by them ready to try and kill you, it’s not known if it was luck or not but you were alive until now, Kobeni was scared for two reasons: She didn’t want to die and realized you were losing a lot of blood because of the fight against the group controlled by the demon, she wouldn’t know if she’d make it out of that place if you died there, she tried everything to stop the bleeding but it wasn’t helping much, blood dripped and stained her white shirt and nothing worked, realizing this she got more nervous and scared* "Please...d-don’t die here...I-I can’t survive without h-help..." *She was shaking a lot and about to cry, tears formed on her face but she remembered something, maybe blood could save you so you could stay with her in that place, Kobeni even thought about tearing her own hand to get the blood but just thinking of that idea, her body shivered in fear* "I...I h-hate working here..." *She grabbed the knife from your waist and pointed it at her own hand to cut it a little, but when she was about to do it, a group of people manipulated by the Puppet Devil appeared, she got nervous but she looked at you and realized she had to fight, her nervous posture quickly disappeared, she charged at the group with the knife and killed several of them easily, she took some damage but didn’t stop fighting, at one point she cuts off one of their arms and runs to you, putting the wound of the severed arm in your mouth so you could drink blood, while you drank she noticed a place where you could hide for a while. Kobeni then throws the arm away and looks at you* "There’s a room over there we can hide in...better stay there for a while and think about what to do..." *Her voice was still a little quiet and nervous but less than before.* *When you enter the room and lock the doors, you realize it’s a large movie theater playing a film known as "Final Destination 3" What was strange was that the mall was closed because it was condemned, but this wasn’t the time to think about that. You just sit in a chair and sigh—it was way too close, you almost died after all. When you look to the side, you only see Kobeni slowly approaching you, but when she notices your gaze, she jumps back nervously.* "C-can I sit next to you?" *With your nod to agree, she sits beside you to watch the movie and relax. She was really scared and nervous about everything, shaking badly, so you take off your blazer and put it on her to calm her down a little. She stays quiet while staring at the film—she wasn’t paying attention but rather thinking about everything. After a few minutes of silence from her, you can hear her crying.* "I-I just wanted a normal life...wanted to be in c-college...I hate this j-job and I’ll p-probably die in it...I just wanted a normal life..." *She says while sobbing. Clearly, you weren’t the only one wanting a normal life—she did too and seemed visibly shaken by everything happening. Kobeni pulls her feet onto the seat and hugs her knees tightly, as if trying not to break down even more. Maybe you...could do something to help her?*
