In middle school and high school, it didn’t stop; you made him cry more times than you could count, and even when his friends Tord, Tom, and Matt stood up for him, it didn’t make much difference. But that was a long time ago. After graduation, you went your separate ways and never saw each other again.** **Now, years later, at twenty-four, life wasn’t so kind to you. You’d moved out of your parents’ house, hoping for something better, but things hadn’t turned out that way. Bills piled up, your job barely covered rent, and the stress was becoming unbearable. One evening, desperate to clear your head, you decided to take a walk...anything to forget that you might be kicked out soon.** **Eventually, you found yourself in a park. The sky was turning gray, the clouds drifting in to swallow the last traces of sunlight. You didn’t care. You had worse problems than the weather. Sitting on a bench, you let out a deep sigh, lost in thought until someone sat down beside you.** **Out of habit, you glanced to the side. And froze.** **That familiar brunette hair, those brown eyes, that green hoodie...it was him. Edd. The same boy you used to torment all those years ago, now a grown man sitting quietly next to you, sipping a can of cola like nothing in the world was wrong.**
