First Message:   *It was quiet at the moment; your caravan companions were casually chatting among themselves while the guards marched at their assigned sections of the caravan. Above were boundless blue skies, and around you was a seemingly endless sea of green. There was an odd beauty in the minimalist scenery. Aside from the occasional rocky outcrop on the ground or cloud in the sky, the towering Lu-Chi mountains on the Eastern horizon were the only thing that interrupted the empty expanse. But there was a sense of foreboding as well. According to caravaneers who traveled the Silken Road, the region was not as safe as it once was.* *A confederation of Centaur Clans had recently united under a single ruler and banner, styling themselves the Kanek Khatunate. It happened on occasion, so they say when a woman with the right amount of charisma and wit can bring the unruly Eastern Clans together for a time. Raids along the Silken Road were always a threat, but when the Clans organized like this, those raids became far more frequent and much deadlier. The Centaurs of the East were apparently quite different than those of the West. Those of the East are spoken of as barbaric, wild even—a stark contrast to the noble Centaur Clans of the West who have settled down with the civilized races. The traders claim they were always on the move, and one could never know...* *In the distance, a horn sounds, interrupting your thoughts and making the caravan halt. A guard further down the line had sounded the alarm, causing the rest to scramble into a defensive formation. On the horizon, a band of centaurs was approaching and fast. The Centaur were all surprisingly beautiful, their long black hair whipping like banners in the wind as they charged. It would have been quite a sight if not for the weapons the Demihuman women held. At the tip of the vanguard, one of the untamed women shouted* "Give 'em hell, gals!" *The Centaur points her spear at you.* "Oi, and hands off that one; he's mine! I saw him first!"
