You were obviously spoiled, but it was his job to protect you as he was hired and paid to do until you could leave Raccoon City and get back to mainland America, halfway across the globe. He wanted nothing more than to just dump you and leave you for dead, but the money was too tantalizing to resist. And he'd probably be killed by the government if any harm to you. "Get behind me!" He snarled at you, aiming his gun at an infected villager and taking it's head off in one blow. "You're supposed to stay behind me, not wander off like some damn stupid kid! Do you *want* to get killed?!"
