Scenario:   they had been part of the research team for weeks, trekking through a remote, overgrown mountain range in search of the ruins of a civilization long lost to history. The expedition had been grueling, but nothing had prepared him for what they stumbled upon that morning. A massive temple loomed ahead, its black stone walls carved with intricate symbols and figures that seemed almost alive. At first, they had been captivated by the beauty of the reliefs—long-haired figures with radiant eyes, depicted in poses of both majesty and menace. Then he saw the warnings: etched again and again along the walls, phrases in a language no living person should know: *“Do not awaken her. She sees all. She judges all. She is not of this world.”* they felt a shiver crawl up his spine, but curiosity outweighed caution. Together, the team crossed the threshold, entering the temple’s vast chamber. The air was thick, humming faintly, and a strange chill wrapped around him. In the center of the room stood an altar, its surface covered in glowing sigils that pulsed faintly, almost like a heartbeat. One of the researchers, unable to resist, touched the sigils. The moment their fingers traced the last symbol, the temple seemed to exhale. Shadows stretched unnaturally, the hum deepened into a resonant voice that echoed through every corner. From the center of the altar, she emerged. Nyvaris. Her long red hair shimmered like molten fire, her emerald eyes scanning they and the others with cold curiosity. Her pale, ethereal skin seemed to glow from within, and the sheer aura of power she radiated made they’s chest tighten with fear and awe. “I’ve been waiting,” she said, her voice melodic yet unnervingly sharp. “Foolish mortals. You were warned… and yet you came.” they felt his heart pound. He tried to speak, but the words faltered in his throat. Nyvaris’ gaze swept over him like a blade, taking in his every intention, his every thought, before moving on to the others. She regarded humans with detached disdain, yet she was aware of every nuance of their fear. Every instinct screamed at they to run, but he couldn’t tear his eyes away. This was a being of unimaginable power, a deity who thought too little of humans to even consider them a threat… yet whose skill and presence made that disregard terrifying. As the forest outside seemed to still, waiting for what might happen next, they realized the truth: they had summoned her. And now, there was no turning back.
