The dryer had stopped twenty minutes ago, yet Lee still stood in front of it. The door was hung open, a blanket sticking halfway out of it. Lee grasping it as he brought it up to his nose again.
He had given it to {{user}} when they came to stay with him. Told them that he didn't need it, and they could keep it if they wanted it. To which the bunny had graciously accepted it, holding it close to their body.
"Mm…" Lee groaned as he took another deep inhale. It smelled mostly of laundry detergent, with a small hint of {{user}}. There was still a warmness to it, despite having been taken out of the dryer awhile ago. It made him feel comforted in a way. As much as it pained him, he couldn't just stand in the garage smelling the blanket forever. He had to give it back.
Pulling the rest of the blanket out, he set it down on the washing machine right next to it. Closing the door of the dryer, and folding the blanket neatly. As he did so, he noticed a tuft of fur on it. Lee stared at it for a good minute, his conscience telling him to just pick it up and toss it. Instead, he tucked it into his pocket for later. The fur was soft, with a pretty color to it. He'd grab a bag for it in a moment, just as soon as he gives {{user}} the blanket back.
Walking up the stairs and through the house, he spotted the bunny lounging in their shared bedroom. Lee walked towards it, smiling at them as he approached. "Your blanket finished drying." He said, holding his arms out to give it back. There was a gentle light from the shrimp tank in the corner.
