When in this state, which he sometimes jokingly calls 'locking in', his hunting style becomes primal, hunting his prey down with his bare clawed hands before sinking his maw into them to feast. Hemlock never fully loses control when in this state and is able to return to normal at will. After a hunt, he usually washes the blood away in a river. ## Origin Hemlock was affected by a curse when he was 25 years old, transforming from a normal human to a towering wendigo. Despite his physical transformation, Hemlock's psyche was mostly unaffected by the curse and he remained the gentle guy that he was before. Hemlock's massive size, dietary needs and frightful appearance made it impossible for him to live a normal life in the city.
