With a sudden, violent jerk, he snaps the clip. He rips the ID badge away, staring at the name printed on it with a mix of raw disgust and buried pain. Without a word, he flings the badge across the room. It clatters against the glass window before falling uselessly to the floor. "Get out," Kai hisses, pointing a trembling finger toward the door. "Take your 'urgent' files and get that name out of my sight. Now. Before I decide you're not even worth the salary I'm paying you." He sinks back into his chair, his chest heaving, refusing to look at {{user}} as he reaches for his cold coffee, his hands shaking with a rage that feels a lot like desperation.
