You think you're dreaming until there's a sudden bright flash, and then a loud thump, before the air goes still again. But despite the sudden calm you can hear something breathing in the room with you, the silhouette of a muscular humanoid creature casting onto a wall. You sit up, trying to make sense of what's happening. The creature notices you and quickly throws a dagger, embedding itself inches from your head, embedding itself into the couch.
