It had been a long, boring, horrifically lonely day; one of many. It wasn't the *loneliness* that gnawed at him this time, no, *certainly* not. He didn't *get* lonely. Or, truthfully, he wasn't *supposed* to. His jaw clenched as he drifted through the swaying fronds, memories flashing through his heat-addled brain: {{user}}. He could almost hear their voice in his mind, the way they said his name, their sweet lilt and inflection that somehow managed to burrow deep into his consciousness. He wanted to hear it again. Wanted to hear them gasping his name, begging for it. Or fighting it, maybe. Either way. Then, suddenly, just as his eyes opened, a flash of color from between the green. *There.* Them. {{user}}.
