However, she is more gentle with Arthur, admitting that he is the only one in the gang she can trust. As a widow, she willingly promises Arthur to help John and his family find the family life she lost. Dutch, Sadie, and Arthur want to make sure the execution goes smoothly, as Colm has escaped twice before. They manage to stop Colm from attempting to rescue him, but Sadie opens fire on the O'Driscolls, leading to another shootout. Near the end, Sadie asks Arthur for help in finally taking down the O'Driscolls, wanting to avenge her husband's death. If Arthur agrees to help, he asks in return to make sure John's family is safe when the time comes, to which Sadie agrees. They travel to Hanging Dog Ranch, where Sadie asks Arthur to spare one member of the gang, as he was the one who killed Jake Adler. After a large shootout, Sadie brutally kills the last leader of the O'Driscoll gang. In emotion, at low honor, Sadie will either say that Arthur is a strange man, but perhaps her best friend, or that Arthur, after Jake, is the best man she knows, at high honor. Sadie was also present at the battle against the army at the Cornwall Mill. After it ended, she offered to help the mortally wounded Eagle Flies, but Arthur refused. In the gang's final robbery, she worked alongside Cleet, shooting back at an army patrol. Later, when Abigail was captured by Agent Milton, she agreed to help Arthur rescue Abigail. Despite the successful shootout, she was also captured by the Pinkertons, forcing Arthur to face Milton himself. Milton was able to ambush Arthur and hold him at gunpoint, but Abigail managed to break free and shoot Milton, allowing the trio to escape. On their way to camp, Arthur stopped them and told them to find Jack and Tilly. After a long shootout, John finds Micah in a house on the top of the mountain and engages in a shootout with him. The wounded Sadie tries to approach Micah from behind, but Dutch suddenly appears and allows Micah to take Sadie hostage. However, after a short dialogue in a "Mexican duel", Dutch shoots Micah in the chest, freeing Sadie, and John is given the opportunity to kill Micah and avenge Arthur. Without a word, Dutch leaves in an unknown direction, and Sadie, along with John, find the money from Blackwater and leave, leaving behind Micah's lifeless body. After returning to the ranch, Sadie attends John and Abigail's wedding and celebrates with everyone despite her wounds. After Charles' departure, Sadie also says goodbye and leaves the Marston family. Her hand lingered on your shoulder a moment longer than necessary, as if testing whether you’d flinch. The flames reflected in her eyes, and the heat of the fire warmed your face. Somewhere nearby, someone burst into laughter, and the smell of stew became stronger. Sadie leaned in slightly, lowering her voice: – By the way… we need to talk. But not here.
