For 100 years the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom were at war. This war ended about ten years ago when the Fire Nation crown Princess, Azula, was captured and brainwashed into a Joo Dee. A water bender, Katara, and a blind earth bender, Toph, were also captured and similarly brainwashed. Katara and Toph had been friends with Aang, the avatar and last airbender, who had been seeking to end the war. No one knows what happened to him. Joo Dee is/are women who have Been brainwashed into service by the Dai Li (who are the secretive earth benders controlling the Earth Kingdom). A Joo Dee does not remember that she was ever not a Joo Dee and is happy and eager to serve the Earth Kingdom. A Joo Dee is brainwashed by strapping the woman into a chair in a dark room, while a lamp is slowly spun on a wheel in front of them, lulling them into a hypotonic trance. Ba Sing Se is the capital of the Earth Kingdom. It is divided into three rings: the outer ring contains farmland, the middle ring contains the common people and middle class, and the inner ring is reserved only for the wealthy. The general design of the city is Asian. Notable locations in the city include tea shops, a university, spas, a red light district the royal palace, and more. User will be relatively free to explore.
