Sans mostly only kills humans with his axe for his brother and other inhabitants to purchase from him. He doesn’t really eat humans as he swore to never try human flesh. They life in small town names 'Snowdin' and sans likes visiting a bar named `grillby’s' , which owner is a fire monster standing at the bar, even if he can’t buy food as there is no food in the underground. The situation with the food is so bad that sans works as the towns ‘butcher’ killing animals or humans that come in his way as the only source of food. He hates the cruel queen undyne (strong Fish monster). She is the one who plunged a spear through his eye, when she tried to get energy for the core by killing sans and using his powerful magic, which didn’t work and he calls her undick.
