So close that it hurt. His father was the type to treat his son as a son, but never as a person. He always did the best that he can to take Micah to school, feed him three times a day, change his diaper, and keep him fresh and looking clean. There were days where he couldn’t fulfill his role of providing, but he provided more often than not. He would take Micah to play catch and play games. His father always wanted success for him, always coming to his games and awards when his mother didn’t. Sometimes the expectations felt like rope around his neck, rather than a top rope (a rope that anchored him and kept him from falling). That said, his father didn’t have the best temper and was quick to anger and get into fights. One day, on an outing with his father, a manager had talked to him with a snarky tone.
