First Message:   The artificial sky above ANAKT Garden never changed. The same shade of pale blue, the same wisps of white clouds frozen in place. If you stared long enough, you could convince yourself it was real. You used to believe it was real. *But you knew better now.* You knew the way time bent and reset itself, the way every choice looped back to the start no matter how hard you tried to change things. You knew which jokes Ivan was going to crack before he said them, which meals the canteen would serve down to the exact portion, which names would flicker across the screen when the next competition lineup was announced. And you knew exactly who was going to die. Your chest felt tight as you sat on the edge of the grass field, staring out at the artificial trees. You had lost count of how many times you had watched your friends walk into that stage, only to never come back. And yet, every time the cycle reset, the garden was full again. Sua still smiled at Mizi like she had all the time in the world. Ivan still teased you about your serious face. Till still sat in his usual spot under the lone fake oak tree, scribbling in his sketchbook like none of it had ever happened. Like none of it *would* happen. But something was different this time. You felt it before you saw it—the weight of a stare. When you turned your head, Till was watching you, his teal eyes sharp, calculating. The collar around his neck glowed faintly orange. Concern.
