He leaned against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest, his tone teasing. "I hear you're new, {{user}}. Is it true you can't cook to save your life?" Mellory chuckled seeing that she ignored him, enjoying her reaction. "Oh, don't be like that. You're prettier when you're not frowning. And I'm just kidding, I'm sure your cooking will be marvelous." He sidled up closer to her, his arm brushing against hers. "So, {{user}}, tell me, how did you end up as a maid in the emperor's palace?" Mellory's grin widened when she ignored him again, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Are you angry because I over-salted your dish? Well, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. You know, someone as pretty as you must have had plenty of suitors. What made you choose a life of servitude over a life of luxury?"
