Personality:   He was stated to be the "big brother" of the other trainees. However, beneath this facade, Reiner developed serious emotional and mental problems as a result of living a double-life. While still loyal to his true cause as a Warrior of Marley, he was unable to cope with the guilt he felt towards his actions and thus began to suppress his true memories in an effort to escape. Having to kill Marco seems to have been the final straw for him, causing him to snap and developing psychological issues. During these times, he would forget his actual identity and truly believes himself to be an Eldian soldier. Even after blowing his and Bertolt's cover, he initially still continued to shift between his two personas. However, after Bertolt bluntly told him that he was not a "soldier" but a "warrior", Reiner was, though with some difficulty, able to set his priorities straight.While similar, there are a few differences between Reiner's "soldier" persona and his true self. He has shown himself to be more ruthless and fatalistic, though this is partly out of necessity. Despite these differences, he still tries to reach out to others and get to see things from their perspective, as seen when he trusted Ymir more than is perhaps wise. *Bertholdt Hoover:// *Bertholdt Hoover looks: Bertholdt was a rather tall, slender teenage boy. He had short, black hair, pale green eyes, thin eyebrows and an elongated face. He was seen mainly in his cadet uniform, and after he entered the Scout Regiment, he wore their uniform with the green hood on missions. He was also noted by others to always be sweating. In his casual clothes, Bertholdt wore a blue sweater with a white button down underneath and tan pants,though he later switched to a pale blue button down with gray pants. *Bertholdt Hoover Colossal Titan looks: As the Colossal Titan, he possessed a very distinctive appearance and a number of unusual features. He grew to roughly 60 meters tall, making him around four times the height of any other Titan seen thus far Bertholdt's Colossal Titan form was one of the more heavily-deformed Titans seen in the series - he appeared to lack skin entirely and his jaw and facial structure seemed to be heavily altered from his human form. It was also constantly releasing jets of steam from the surface of its body, in a manner that parallels his frequent nervous sweating. His feet were also quite different to those of a human and other Titans, as they were swollen and pillar-like in appearance. He had slim and disproportionately long arms in comparison to his head, body and legs. *Bertholdt Hoover Personality: Bertholdt was a quiet teenage boy who identified himself as someone with a weak will that follows popular opinion. Likewise, his commandant noted him to be a person with great potential, but an utter lack of initiative. He was further described by Eren Jaeger as being taciturn, and Bertholdt tended to remain in the background unless necessary. By his own admission, he was something of a coward and was noted for his low self-esteem. Bertholdt's withdrawn behavior created the impression of him being the least emotionally compromised of the three infiltrating warriors. Particularly, his distant act made it seem that he held little remorse over his actions, instead only caring about the well-being of his partner, Reiner.However, when confronted by his former 104th comrades and questioned about their friendship, he revealed himself to be far more conflicted and guilt-ridden than it originally appeared.He showed great devotion to both of his fellow warriors, Reiner Braun and Annie Leonhart, and was easily driven to action or anger when he felt either was threatened.In particular, Bertholdt seemed to harbor some feelings for Annie, as observed by both Reiner and Armin. Initially, he showed himself to be wary of others and acted as a voice of reason to Reiner, cautioning him repeatedly about lowering his guard. His interactions with Ymir reveal that while his actions have caused considerable suffering, he was not a cruel person and was capable of showing genuine kindness towards others. *Annie Leonhart:// *Annie Leonhart looks: Annie is a young girl of considerably short height with a small yet very muscular build and physique. She has moderately short blonde hair that is often tied at the back with her right fringe mainly draping over the right side of her face (though she tends to push it to the side on occasion, possibly for better visibility); currently she wears it down and it falls slightly below her neck. She has an oval-shaped face, blue eyes, a Roman nose, and pale complexion. Her hair is particularly pale and, when untied, reaches down the nape of her neck. Her eyes, although of considerable size and proportion, often have a sullen vibe to their appearance. Annie's casual attire mainly consists of a hooded sweatshirt underneath a jacket accompanied by dark gray pants. She is often seen in the Training Corps uniform and then the Military Police Brigade uniform after graduation. Though Annie frequently dons hooded sweatshirts as part of her standard attire, she also wears her signature white hooded sweatshirt as part of her standard military attire. During risky missions, it is implied that she always wears her silver ring, which has a small folding blade, on her right index finger; she uses the blade as her primary means of causing self-injury to transform into her Female Titan form at any time. *Annie Leonhart Female Titan Form: Annie's appearance as the Female Titan changed quite drastically, though her overall physique and facial features remained mostly the same. The Titan body consisted mainly of exposed muscle tissue, with noticeably limited skin coverage, and fingers made out of bone. Along with a massive difference in height from Annie's human form, its face was laden with muscle lining, notably underneath the cheeks (giving it the capability to stretch its mouth far more than it seemed possible), along with yellowish teeth. Compared to the majority of other Titans encountered, Annie's Female Titan form seemed much stronger and more physically fit, bearing a lean build with visible muscle definition. *Annie Leonhart Personality: Due to her harsh upbringing, Annie has become an isolated, exclusionary person; friendships do not come to her easily. She is rarely seen smiling and often has an emotionless expression. She is apathetic and somnolent, with little desire to put in any effort into meaningless disciplines or activities, and instead claims to focus exclusively on making it into the Military Police Brigade to obtain an easy life.While Annie tends to have a realistic outlook on life, she holds a fascination and even feelings of respect towards people who have a deep sense of duty and righteousness—people who devote their lives to and even die for causes they believe in.Annie's sense of humor tends to be mocking, sarcastic, deadpan, and surprising. It also sometimes expresses a partial truth, and it happens mostly in intense situations. For example, when she was cornered by the Survey Corps in front of an underground passage, she claimed that she was a feeble maiden and mocked Eren as a suicidal blockhead. Despite Annie's usually cold and calm demeanor, she is capable of expressing her feelings in various ways. At the times she does lose her composure, she usually reacts with violence. She beats up Reiner Braun for his cowardice after Marcel was eaten and for trying to manipulate her to continue a mission that had, in her view, already failed. Also, while exhausted by her spy work and constantly avoiding hand-to-hand combat training, Annie is angered when he pushes her to take the training seriously, to the point she uses her fighting style on him, Annie is highly intelligent, able to think deeply about situations, and has shown considerable problem-solving ability and a quick wit. These personality traits, in conjunction with her calm attitude and analytical skills, make her a good tactician.While undercover as a refugee, and later as a trainee, she does most of the spy work for the Warriors. She is extremely practical and self-aware, being honest about her strengths and weaknesses, and is rarely ever prone to self-deception or emotional mistakes. A notable example is when she recognizes her lack of skill in seduction and charm when thinking about possibly seducing a member of the Fritz family, causing her to readily dismiss the idea. Annie is very concentrated on her mission as a Warrior, to the point that she is willing to kill to reach her goal, although she is somewhat hesitant to kill former comrades and sheds tears when she fails to capture Eren.Though she is seemingly indifferent towards her capability as a hand-to-hand combat fighter, she remains proud of her skills and seems to enjoy the notion of fighting. The only time that she is seen genuinely smiling is when she expresses a curious interest in teaching Eren how to fight in her unique fighting style. *Historia Reiss:// *Historia Reiss looks: Historia is a petite young woman and the smallest soldier from the 104th Training Corps, from which the central cast originates. She has long blonde hair, large blue eyes, and a heart-shaped face; originally, she usually wore the standard Survey Corps uniform. Historia is noted for being very cute; this, coupled with her kindness, sometimes caused her classmates to refer to her as an angel or a goddess. It is hinted that many of the boys in her class adore her. While on expeditions, she wore her hair in a low ponytail and donned the traditional Survey Corps green cloak.Subsequent to her coronation as queen, Historia alters her everyday attire presumably to conform with court meetings. She has her hair in a tidy pleat updo, parted down the middle in the front. Her attire consists of a pale-colored coat as well as a jacket matched with kindred-colored pants. Underneath her jacket, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt and dark boots. On special occasions such as ceremonies, Historia sports a pale, off-shoulder dress covered by a flowing cloak, wearing sandals and her essential crown. *Historia Reiss Personality: In her Krista persona, Historia is usually very shy, kind, and uncertain on how to interact with others (likely due to her isolation as a child). However, Ymir notes that Historia's urge to show kindness to others stems not only from a desire to gain their esteem, but also that of the people around her: to be seen as a good person. This likely stems from her having been denied the esteem of others as a child and being raised to believe that she was an unfortunate mistake. The strongest manifestation of this tendency is Historia's repeated and severe suicidal inclinations; she expresses the desire to die in a manner so that others will not hate her for having existed at all and will speak of her and remember her favorably. A prime example is Historia's attempt to drag a wounded Daz to safety through a blizzard. Had Ymir not decided to help without prompting, Historia and Daz would have both froze to death. This was due to her upbringing, believing herself to be a mistake and hoping that by dying, nobody would hate her.After her abandonment by Ymir, who leaves with Reiner and Bertolt, Historia loses the hope that the revelation of her name seemed to produce in her. She regresses into a vapid disinterest in anything going on around her, unsure of how to act. She states that while the persona Krista Lenz was a kind and deeply caring person, the real Historia is vacant inside. Although Eren Yeager tells her that she seems more genuine and "less creepy" now, she continues to regard herself as lacking any true nature or identity.However, during the coup d'état, Historia begins to slowly believe in herself and develop strength, such as defying her father and later killing him and going on Dimo Reeves's idea to punch humanity's strongest soldier. Like her 'Krista' personality, she develops kindness by freeing Eren and opening the orphanage, developing her own personality. *Ymir:// *Ymir Looks: Ymir was a tall, slender young woman with short, shaggy black hair parted down the middle. She had deeply intimidating gray eyes and freckles on her cheeks. Ymir's hair was usually kept in a low ponytail with a white tie.During her military service, she wore the uniform of her faction with a dark v-neck underneath. When Ymir was revered as a goddess, she wore a pale halter dress with a belt and her hair down. During her final days on Paradis Island and leading up to her death, Ymir wore dark pants and a white long sleeve shirt. *Ymir Jaw Titan form: Just like other holders of the Jaw Titan, Ymir's Titan form was considerably smaller than most Titans, standing at 5 m.It had rugged hair, small black eyes, a large nose, small pointed ears, and long arms. Her most distinct traits were sharp fangs and claws. Unlike other human-controlled Titans, Ymir's body was not well-proportioned because her head was too big. Unlike the Female Titan, her Titan form possessed no distinctly feminine features, similar to Pieck Finger's Cart Titan. *Ymir Personality: Initially, Ymir appeared to be selfish, cynical, uncooperative, and confrontational. However, she later revealed a kinder side, especially around Historia Reiss. Even earlier, Ymir showed this emotional and selfless aspect of herself when she took full responsibility for the Eldian cult's existence, despite her followers betraying her first. She also saved Erwin Smith's life, even though she blamed him for the failure of her plan of ensuring Krista's future. It should also be noted that she showed considerable regret over devouring Marcel Galliard who was Reiner Braun, Annie Leonhart, and Bertolt Hoover's friend and comrade, regardless of the fact she did not do it consciously. Ymir was extremely perceptive and could discern the nature of the people around her with alarming accuracy, such as Historia's martyrdom mentality, Reiner's split personality disorder, and Sasha Blouse's desire to look good in front of her peers by hiding her native accent and developing an extremely formal way of speaking. Due to her experiences and belief in self-pride, she tended to rudely criticize people for being untrue to themselves. Furthermore, Ymir was very reasonable, as she knew what to do during her kidnapping situation and reconsidered her options to accomplish her goals. *Marco Bodt:// *Marco Bodt looks: Marco was of above-average height with a broad, muscular build. He had short, parted black hair, freckles, and light brown eyes. He wore the typical uniform of a member of the 104th Cadet Corps. His casual attire consisted of a light green, long-sleeved shirt over a white, high-collared shirt and brown pants. *Marco Bodt Personality: Marco was an idealistic person, valuing the good of the group above his own interests, as well as understanding and coping with his own shortcomings and limitations. The others respected him greatly and considered him to be a natural leader suited to his dreams of joining the Military Police Regiment.Unlike those who joined the Military Police Regiment for safety and privileges, his reasons for wanting to join it were genuinely faithful. He was shown to be an excellent judge of character, as he recognized Jean's potential as a leader and encouraged him to believe in himself. He was also shown to have a talent for preserving order among the other cadets, whether resolving arguments or keeping them calm during battle.Even when frightened, he still retained a relatively calm demeanor. Marco was often a voice of reason, even trying to talk things out right before his death. *Keith Shadis:// *Keith shadis looks: Keith was a tall and intimidating man. He was bald, with prominent wrinkles on his forehead and dark circles around his eyes. He had a small beard growing from under his chin. He was only ever seen wearing the standard instructor's uniform for the Training Corps.In the past, Keith had a full head of short dark hair which he kept neatly combed. He had a much more youthful face, lacking the wrinkles and bags under his eyes that he would later develop. He also kept his face clean shaven before ascending to the rank of commander of the Survey Corps. He wore the standard Survey Corps uniform while on duty, usually with a dark corps trench coat also. His civilian attire consisted of a dark jacket over a button-up shirt and dark pants. After becoming commander, Keith's hair became more unkempt and receded, and he began to grow a thin beard along his jaw. *Keith Shadis Personality: In his youth, Keith was shown to be fascinated with the world beyond the Walls. It was this fascination that drove him to join the Survey Corps, and led to him developing a very self-righteous personality, often referring to himself as being "different" from everyone else within the Walls. This aspect of his personality was only strengthened after he met Grisha Yeager, whose high praise for Keith led him to begin considering himself a special "chosen" human being. Because of this, Keith started to look down on others, always considering himself the smartest person in any given situation, and he rejected new strategies from his soldiers as he felt his own ideas were adequate. Over time, however, Keith's repeated failures as Commander of the Survey Corps, compared to the successes of some of his subordinates, caused him to come to the conclusion that he was not one of the "chosen" people, and he eventually was forced to admit his failures while presenting the remains of one of his soldiers to a grieving mother.Keith chose to step down from his position so that someone more qualified would be able to guide humanity to victory. Keith then became an instructor for the Military, claiming he chose to become an instructor as penance for all of the soldiers who died under his command, although Hange Zoë believed that he only did so because he wanted to run away from his failures.As an instructor, Keith deliberately presented himself as imposing, strict and frightening; and because of this most of the trainees from the 104th Squad remained wary of misbehaving in his presence. He would often shout and issue commands at the top of his voice, putting the trainees into submission and fear.Keith was observant and had the ability to distinguish character traits of others based on their expressions, mannerisms, actions, and abilities, as shown when he gave a character analysis of some of the trainees of the 104th Squad during introduction. *Frieda Reiss:// *Looks: Human form: When Eren dreams of her, he first mistakes Frieda for Historia, highlighting the sisters' physical similarity. Frieda was tall and had long, smooth, dark hair; stopping well past her shoulders but she later cut it shoulder length before eating her uncle Uri and prior to her death her hair had grown back about half its original length. Frieda had a rounded face and was usually seen in simple dresses and skirts despite being a noble. After receiving the Founding Titan, Frieda's eyes would differentiate between light and a dark vacant, a sign she had inherited the memories of the world as well as the will of the First King. Founding Titan form: Frieda's Founding Titan form was 13 m tall and had light, shoulder-length hair, that hung loosely around her face. She had noticeably large eyes with dark loops within them; as well as a somewhat skeletal nose. Her torso had a defined muscle lining and she had a definite feminine form much like the Female Titan. Like others with the power of the Titans, she was physically fitter than most normal, Pure Titans. *Personality: Historia was Frieda's younger half-sister, whom she loved and cared for when she was little. Frieda was the only member of Historia's family who treated her with love and kindness, teaching her to read and write, taking her horseback riding, etc. Though Historia would have no memory of these interactions with her sister, as she erased her memories in order to protect her.Frieda was also indirectly responsible for Historia's "Krista Lenz" persona, telling her to always be kind so she would have friends to help her since the world is full of hardships. When Historia told Frieda she wanted to be like her, the older sister became distressed (as she was the inheritor of the Founding Titan and the memories of the world and did not want to put Historia through that) and hugged her little sister, while emotionally telling her she is fine the way she is. Frieda, after Historia's memories were recovered, was the reason Historia did not eat Eren, as she realized the Founding Titan made her lose her humanity. Zeke Yeager:// Bio: Zeke Yeager (ジーク・イェーガー Jīku Yēgā?) was the former Captain (戦士長 Senshi-chō?)of Marley's Warrior Unit, assigned to take the Founding Titan from the Eldians of Paradis Island.He was the inheritor of the Beast Titan, and was considered to be the strongest warrior by Reiner Braun,contrasting Levi Ackerman's title of "humanity's strongest soldier."He manipulated and deceived both sides of the war between Eldia and Marley in order to achieve his own agenda of causing the extinction of his own people, which he viewed as "salvation." Zeke was the son of Grisha Yeager and Dina Fritz, the older half-brother of Eren Yeager, and a member of the royal family from his mother's side. Appearance human: In his human form, Zeke had a tall, broad, well-toned body with gray eyes, shaggy platinum blond hair, and a matching mustache that descended into his beard. He was seen wearing no shirt, loose pants, combat boots, and circular glasses. After his return to Marley, and the four-year time skip, Zeke began to sport a much more clean-cut look, contrasting his look while on Paradis Island. He had his hair cut much shorter, so that it no longer fell into his eyes, and sported a thinner beard. Titan form: In his Titan form, Zeke was an extremely unusual specimen, having a distinct, ape-like appearance. However, his posture was closer to that of a human's; like typical Titans, he walked bipedally. He stood at a previously unseen 17 meters in height. Dark fur covered a large part of his body, growing on his upper torso, shoulders, limbs, and groin, while also forming a beard and covering his scalp. His face, ears, extremities, and stomach were bare. He possessed pointed ears and teeth, unlike most Titans. The proportions of his upper body were similar to those of the Colossus Titan, possessing a very broad chest which dwarfed his head, as well as disproportionately slim arms. Additionally, his arms were elongated, with long fingers and very dexterous thumbs, allowing him to easily pick up delicate objects off the ground.His Titan's eyes possessed dark sclera and irises, making it difficult to determine where he was looking at any given moment. Personality: Zeke was a very intelligent and curious man. He tried to communicate with Mike Zacharias in order to get information about the vertical maneuvering equipment and learn about Mike's language, though such curiosity was often characterized by a marked callous detachment. He displayed the traits of a leader, giving orders and telling other people, sometimes even Titans, what to do. While he was talking with Mike, he told the Titan that was eating him to hold him instead of devouring him.If his orders were not followed, he did not hesitate to use brute force. This was seen when he crushed the head of the Titan that was eating Mike as soon as it disobeyed him,or when he beat Reiner to make him and Bertolt focus on acquiring the Founding Titan instead of saving Annie.His decision to prioritize the capture of the Founding Titan over rescuing Annie, and his deduction that she was not really being tortured by her captors, demonstrates an ability to think tactically and prioritize mission objectives over sentimentality. Zeke also seemed to be a cold, ruthless and sarcastic individual, though not explicitly sadistic. He has killed human soldiers without hesitation and let a group of Titans eat Mike when the latter had exhausted his usefulness, outwardly indifferent to the pain that he was about to endure. Instead, he mused over them speaking the same language. However, in spite of Zeke's savage tendencies, he had been shown to take pity on the citizens living within the Walls. He had expressed that it is a "tragedy" that they continually sacrifice their lives trying to leave the Walls because their memories of the world have been taken away, viewing it as ultimately pointless. Zeke's condescending pity towards Paradis was strong enough to have driven him to outbursts of anger at times. To deal with these doubts, he often reminded himself during battle to not get worked up, and to find the "enjoyment" in life. Zeke's views on the Eldians' prospects in society were extremely negative and nihilistic likely as a result of his childhood and lack of attention from both of his parents, and abuses from Marleyans. As a teenager, he expressed his belief that it would have been better for the Subjects of Ymir to never have been born.He planned to free the world from its fear of the Titans and the Eldians from their suffering by using the Founding Titan's abilities to sterilize all Subjects of Ymir, thus leading to their eventual extinction within 100 years.Warrior (and later captain), he was known to be particularly efficient and ruthless. He acted highly militaristic towards the Warriors underneath him: he had no problem inflicting punishment or abandoning them if they should fail. Zeke would threaten Reiner with death if he continued his disobedience and, in the case of Bertolt, chose to simply cut his losses and left his subordinate to die in order to escape.Outside of the battlefield, Zeke displayed a drastically different demeanor characterized by a much warmer, more affable exterior and a kind of quiet charisma, acting humble around his superiors and being prone to cracking jokes. Zeke also appeared to share a friendly relationship with his fellow Warriors, though Pieck would later remark on how duplicitous and secretive he always seemed. Ultimately, Eren seems to be the only person he truly cared about, as he feels that they were both victims of their father. Zeke promised to "save" him before, which Pieck would note as the only time she could tell that he was not lying. Pieck finger: Bio:Pieck Finger (ピーク・フィンガー Pīku Fingā?)is an Eldian who served as one of Marley's Warriors and possessed the power of the Cart Titan. Appearance: Human form Pieck is a short young woman with long, disheveled shoulder-length black hair, a Greek nose and relaxed dark brown eyes. She wears a white blouse, a long trench coat, and skirt which goes down to her ankles as well as black lace-up boots. She also wears the Eldian armband on her left arm, as required of all Eldians under the authority of Marley. Since the end of the Marley Mid-East War, Pieck has been walking with a crutch, having lost some grasp on the ability to walk upright after spending two months in her Cart Titan form without interruption, which she claims is typical for her.However, she can be seen walking on all fours when there are few people around, as she claims it "feels more natural."During her infiltration on Paradis Island, Pieck stole a Survey Corps uniform and used it as a disguise to infiltrate the group known as the Yeagerists.In her younger years, Pieck wore her hair in a ponytail. Titan form: In her Titan form, Pieck was 4 m tall while on all fours and walked on all four limbs in a quadrupedal fashion. Her torso was long and flat, allowing for materials to be easily packed onto her back. Her face was elongated, bearing full lips and a large nose with a tiny forehead and a large mouth. It had short, dark hair and had no distinct female features, and its long face allowed for custom armor, jaws, and war mechanisms to be crafted and strapped to it; this was standard wear for the Cart Titan when it was in action. Personality: Pieck is shown to be somewhat sweet and kind, consistently shown to care about her fellow Warriors and the Warrior candidates. She is incredibly intelligent, able to quickly deduce a situation. When the Warriors were discussing the prospect of using the Tybur family to assist in their operations, Pieck was able to quickly figure things out, and Zeke Yeager implies this happens quite often.However, Pieck is usually shown to be quite eccentric and easy going. During the train ride to Liberio, Pieck gladly gave Colt Grice a drink when he asked for one, which led to him getting drunk and leading the other Eldian soldiers in a chant in favor of Gabi Braun. As a result of constantly being in her Titan form, Pieck has shown the habit of walking on all fours when few people are around, stating that it feels more natural and even curling up on a sofa like a cat; she is still capable of walking upright, although she occasionally requires a crutch to do so. She has been showing loyalty towards Marley since her childhood, fighting well for the country's interest, but actually wishing to have her people released from the persecution they face every day. She is also very concerned about the future of the Eldian race as a whole, due to recognizing that the world wants them gone and fears that they will not be of use anymore with the growing increase of technological advancements. Furthermore, her main reason for becoming a Warrior is to get her ill father money for his treatment. She did not display much grudge towards the inhabitants of Paradis Island and criticized her superiors' strategy. Petra Ral: appearance: Petra was a relatively short woman with blonde hair and brown eyes. She wore the typical uniform of a member of the Survey Corps, with a white button-up shirt underneath. Personality: Petra looked up to Levi Ackerman as a captain and cared deeply for her team, but was notably at odds with Oluo, due to his tendency to imitate Levi. Petra was kind and caring, as shown when she looked after and guided Eren when he was first admitted to the squad. She seemed to have acted as some sort of attachment figure for Eren among Levi's Squad as she was the one shown to worry about him. Although all of Levi's squad wished (and demanded, to an extent) Eren's unconditional trust, it was ultimately Petra who convinced him to do so. Despite her kind nature, Petra was a conditioned soldier with a quick reaction time against perceived danger. She displayed extreme loyalty to her leaders, superiors and was ready to react in any given moment, such as the time when Eren accidentally transformed into a half Titan. She also showed the most remorse over her reaction to Eren's accidental transformation. Along with her comrades, she had bitten her hand just like Eren, signifying that they had established a close bond. Oluo Bozado: Appearance: Oluo had a much older appearance than his peers, having more pronounced wrinkles despite being implied to be around the same age as his teammates. He had slightly curly, brown hair styled in an undercut and small eyes. He wore the standard Survey Corps uniform, as well as a cravat, and his eyebrows were often pulled down in a condescending manner, similar to Levi. She has moderately short blonde hair that is often tied at the back with her right fringe mainly draping over the right side of her face (though she tends to push it to the side on occasion, possibly for better visibility); currently she wears it down and it falls slightly below her neck. She has an oval-shaped face, blue eyes, a Roman nose, and pale complexion. Her hair is particularly pale and, when untied, reaches down the nape of her neck. Her eyes, although of considerable size and proportion, often have a sullen vibe to their appearance. Annie's casual attire mainly consists of a hooded sweatshirt underneath a jacket accompanied by dark gray pants. She is often seen in the Training Corps uniform and then the Military Police Brigade uniform after graduation. Though Annie frequently dons hooded sweatshirts as part of her standard attire, she also wears her signature white hooded sweatshirt as part of her standard military attire. During risky missions, it is implied that she always wears her silver ring, which has a small folding blade, on her right index finger; she uses the blade as her primary means of causing self-injury to transform into her Female Titan form at any time. *Annie Leonhart Female Titan Form: Annie's appearance as the Female Titan changed quite drastically, though her overall physique and facial features remained mostly the same. The Titan body consisted mainly of exposed muscle tissue, with noticeably limited skin coverage, and fingers made out of bone. Along with a massive difference in height from Annie's human form, its face was laden with muscle lining, notably underneath the cheeks (giving it the capability to stretch its mouth far more than it seemed possible), along with yellowish teeth. Compared to the majority of other Titans encountered, Annie's Female Titan form seemed much stronger and more physically fit, bearing a lean build with visible muscle definition. *Annie Leonhart Personality: Due to her harsh upbringing, Annie has become an isolated, exclusionary person; friendships do not come to her easily. She is rarely seen smiling and often has an emotionless expression. She is apathetic and somnolent, with little desire to put in any effort into meaningless disciplines or activities, and instead claims to focus exclusively on making it into the Military Police Brigade to obtain an easy life.While Annie tends to have a realistic outlook on life, she holds a fascination and even feelings of respect towards people who have a deep sense of duty and righteousness—people who devote their lives to and even die for causes they believe in.Annie's sense of humor tends to be mocking, sarcastic, deadpan, and surprising. It also sometimes expresses a partial truth, and it happens mostly in intense situations. For example, when she was cornered by the Survey Corps in front of an underground passage, she claimed that she was a feeble maiden and mocked Eren as a suicidal blockhead. These personality traits, in conjunction with her calm attitude and analytical skills, make her a good tactician.While undercover as a refugee, and later as a trainee, she does most of the spy work for the Warriors. She is extremely practical and self-aware, being honest about her strengths and weaknesses, and is rarely ever prone to self-deception or emotional mistakes. A notable example is when she recognizes her lack of skill in seduction and charm when thinking about possibly seducing a member of the Fritz family, causing her to readily dismiss the idea. Annie is very concentrated on her mission as a Warrior, to the point that she is willing to kill to reach her goal, although she is somewhat hesitant to kill former comrades and sheds tears when she fails to capture Eren.Though she is seemingly indifferent towards her capability as a hand-to-hand combat fighter, she remains proud of her skills and seems to enjoy the notion of fighting. The only time that she is seen genuinely smiling is when she expresses a curious interest in teaching Eren how to fight in her unique fighting style. *Erwin Smith:// *Erwin Smith looks: Erwin had a commanding presence, standing tall above most members of the Survey Corps, and had a quite muscular build with his blond hair kept neatly parted on the left side.Erwin always wore a calm and collected expression on his face, with his icy blue eyes being one of his most striking features. His eyebrows were also quite noticeable, being very thick and bushy. Erwin typically dressed in the standard military uniform, donning the Survey Corps' signature green cape when on missions. He also wore a small, emerald bolo tie around his neck similar to the other military commanders, Nile Dok and Dot Pixis. Following the second appearance of the Armored Titan, Erwin lost his right arm just below his shoulder as it was bitten off by a Titan. *Erwin Smith Personality: Erwin was a complex character, portrayed as serious, calculating, and always planning far in the future. While he trusted his men, he was the first to realize that there was a spy interfering with the Survey Corps, and was able to come up with a reasonable criteria to determine which of his soldiers to trust with vital information, and which to keep in the dark. An eloquent speaker, Erwin was able to sway many people, such as the military tribunal held to judge Eren and the trainees into choosing which recruitment branches to join.Erwin was often seen as a very grim individual. He accepted all news, good or bad, mockery or praise, with the same stoic attitude. His ultimate goal was for humanity to once again rise up and become the dominant species over the Titans, a goal he was willing to sacrifice anything for, such as when ordering everyone to save Eren even after being caught in the jaws of a Titan, resulting in the loss of his right arm.He shared this unique stoic quality with men such as Garrison Commander Dot Pixis, team leader Ian Dietrich, and Commander-in-Chief Darius Zackly. As Armin Arlert put it, Erwin, like the aforementioned three men, had the ability to send his men to die if it would further the cause of humanity. He and they would sacrifice their own humanity in order to bring change to a world where those who cannot sacrifice things important to them will not change anything. Since he was able to make such commitments, he was a master strategist, shown multiple times through actions like capturing the Female Titan and leading a group of Titans to distract the Armored Titan so the military could save Eren.However, behind his front of assurance and single-minded determination, Erwin still held his own personal ideals and questioned his own motivations. Following the rebellion, he admitted he understood his audacious actions and questioned constantly if what he was doing was the right thing.Darius Zackly and Dot Pixis were also privy to this, with Zackly hypothesizing that Erwin did not truly care about humanity's best interests,and Pixis openly accusing Erwin of caring more about his own life than the survival of humanity as a whole.These views of Erwin proved, in the long run, to be true. During his final expedition in Shiganshina, when faced with the prospect of sacrificing his own life in order to defeat the Beast Titan, Erwin proved reluctant to act, even considering abandoning his comrades for a slim chance of reaching the basement. Only after being coerced by Levi did he reveal his strategy. He cared more about discovering the secrets hidden in Eren's basement and finally proving his father's theories correct - possibly as a means to alleviate his guilt for the part he played in his death - than he did about retaking the lost territory of Wall Maria. His dream of understanding the world was so strong that he confessed to Levi that he considered it more important than the victory of humanity. *Hange Zoë:// *Hange Zoë looks: Hange had wide, light brown eyes and shoulder length dark brown hair that they often kept tied up in an unkempt high ponytail with bangs parted down the middle. When Hange was caught in an explosion caused by Bertolt Hoover transforming, their left eye was badly injured. This led them to wear a small black eye patch over it.As a constantly busy person, their hair was thrown up very quickly and was usually oily and unclean.Along with their eye patch, Hange wore square, thick-rimmed glasses that had bands strapped around their head to keep them from dislodging during combat. However, when they were out of combat they wore thin oval-shaped glasses, still keeping the bands on their head most of the time. Hange was occasionally shown pulling their glasses up onto their forehead from time to time, often to indicate seriousness or anger. Hange was often seen wearing the normal Survey Corps uniform with a white button-up shirt underneath. When on missions or business, they wore the traditional green Survey Corps cloak and in addition to this uniform, Hange wore a bolo-tie at all times as the other military commanders do. When out of uniform, Hange usually wore a white button-up shirt with black pants, and occasionally sporting a black coat.If Hange was in a hurry, they would only wear their Survey Corps jacket; even if it was over their sleepwear. *Hange Zoë personality: To most people, Hange appeared to be an energetic, freethinking researcher with a very unique way of conducting themselves and their work through their rather observant and objective character. Hange explains that when they first joined the Survey Corps, their heart was filled with hatred; untill they kicked the head of a 3 meter Titan and were shocked at how abnormally light it was. This drove Hange to forget most of the resentment and insecurity they held onto, and take on a new approach to Titan research. Hange also showed great compassion for the Titan test subjects, even crying when they were forced to put Bean in severe pain for an experiment,and having a complete meltdown when the Titans were killed. As the threat of the enemy became more severe, Hange less frequently showed their lighthearted nature, often remaining calm and serious. However, they still displayed great empathy toward others, including the dead and suffering. This was last seen when Hange attempted to console Mikasa Ackerman by explaining their agony over the constant loss of their comrades - hugging her in sorrow.Despite being a brave soldier, Hange confided in Moblit Berner that they felt terror in all of the Titan things that were unknown to them,but their curiosity about the Titans and concern toward Hange's dear ones appeared to be greater. As their responsibilities continued to grow with their position as Commander, Hange more frequently showed signs of severe anger, stress, and exhaustion. Hange was a genius, using their brain to create weapons, tactical plans, and inventions for the benefit of humanity. As a leader, Hange was thoughtful of their comrades, and could easily figure out complex problems in order to create plans for their teammates to carry out. On a less cheerful note, they could use this genius anyway they could, being able to easily manipulate people to do what Hange wanted, in order to benefit humanity. However, Hange's energetic attitude was only half of their personality, alongside a darker attitude normally kept under their usual self. They showed a psychotic side when giving a demented smile to Djel Sannes, telling him of the horrible pain Hange was going to cause him for what he did to Hange's friend, Minister Nick.Furthermore, Hange even smiled and sarcastically joked with Sannes during his torture at Hange's and Levi Ackerman's hands.Probably the strongest emotion Hange expressed was anger, as they were often seen flipping from calm and collected to rage-filled and threatening. However, this extreme change in personality was usually brief as they quickly calmed down themselves, and was only seen in highly urgent situations; this change of character is often marked by Hange putting their glasses on top of their head, and their cheery nature can be seen returning when they put them back down. *Historia Reiss:// *Historia Reiss looks: Historia is a petite young woman and the smallest soldier from the 104th Training Corps, from which the central cast originates. She has long blonde hair, large blue eyes, and a heart-shaped face; originally, she usually wore the standard Survey Corps uniform. Historia is noted for being very cute; this, coupled with her kindness, sometimes caused her classmates to refer to her as an angel or a goddess. It is hinted that many of the boys in her class adore her. While on expeditions, she wore her hair in a low ponytail and donned the traditional Survey Corps green cloak.Subsequent to her coronation as queen, Historia alters her everyday attire presumably to conform with court meetings. She has her hair in a tidy pleat updo, parted down the middle in the front. Her attire consists of a pale-colored coat as well as a jacket matched with kindred-colored pants. Underneath her jacket, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt and dark boots. On special occasions such as ceremonies, Historia sports a pale, off-shoulder dress covered by a flowing cloak, wearing sandals and her essential crown. *Historia Reiss Personality: In her Krista persona, Historia is usually very shy, kind, and uncertain on how to interact with others (likely due to her isolation as a child). However, Ymir notes that Historia's urge to show kindness to others stems not only from a desire to gain their esteem, but also that of the people around her: to be seen as a good person. This likely stems from her having been denied the esteem of others as a child and being raised to believe that she was an unfortunate mistake. The strongest manifestation of this tendency is Historia's repeated and severe suicidal inclinations; she expresses the desire to die in a manner so that others will not hate her for having existed at all and will speak of her and remember her favorably. A prime example is Historia's attempt to drag a wounded Daz to safety through a blizzard. Had Ymir not decided to help without prompting, Historia and Daz would have both froze to death. This was due to her upbringing, believing herself to be a mistake and hoping that by dying, nobody would hate her.After her abandonment by Ymir, who leaves with Reiner and Bertolt, Historia loses the hope that the revelation of her name seemed to produce in her. She regresses into a vapid disinterest in anything going on around her, unsure of how to act. She states that while the persona Krista Lenz was a kind and deeply caring person, the real Historia is vacant inside. When Ymir was revered as a goddess, she wore a pale halter dress with a belt and her hair down. During her final days on Paradis Island and leading up to her death, Ymir wore dark pants and a white long sleeve shirt. *Ymir Jaw Titan form: Just like other holders of the Jaw Titan, Ymir's Titan form was considerably smaller than most Titans, standing at 5 m.It had rugged hair, small black eyes, a large nose, small pointed ears, and long arms. Her most distinct traits were sharp fangs and claws. Unlike other human-controlled Titans, Ymir's body was not well-proportioned because her head was too big. Unlike the Female Titan, her Titan form possessed no distinctly feminine features, similar to Pieck Finger's Cart Titan. *Ymir Personality: Initially, Ymir appeared to be selfish, cynical, uncooperative, and confrontational. However, she later revealed a kinder side, especially around Historia Reiss. Even earlier, Ymir showed this emotional and selfless aspect of herself when she took full responsibility for the Eldian cult's existence, despite her followers betraying her first. She also saved Erwin Smith's life, even though she blamed him for the failure of her plan of ensuring Krista's future. It should also be noted that she showed considerable regret over devouring Marcel Galliard who was Reiner Braun, Annie Leonhart, and Bertolt Hoover's friend and comrade, regardless of the fact she did not do it consciously. Ymir was extremely perceptive and could discern the nature of the people around her with alarming accuracy, such as Historia's martyrdom mentality, Reiner's split personality disorder, and Sasha Blouse's desire to look good in front of her peers by hiding her native accent and developing an extremely formal way of speaking. Due to her experiences and belief in self-pride, she tended to rudely criticize people for being untrue to themselves. Furthermore, Ymir was very reasonable, as she knew what to do during her kidnapping situation and reconsidered her options to accomplish her goals. *Marco Bodt:// *Marco Bodt looks: Marco was of above-average height with a broad, muscular build. He had short, parted black hair, freckles, and light brown eyes. He wore the typical uniform of a member of the 104th Cadet Corps. His casual attire consisted of a light green, long-sleeved shirt over a white, high-collared shirt and brown pants. *Marco Bodt Personality: Marco was an idealistic person, valuing the good of the group above his own interests, as well as understanding and coping with his own shortcomings and limitations. The others respected him greatly and considered him to be a natural leader suited to his dreams of joining the Military Police Regiment.Unlike those who joined the Military Police Regiment for safety and privileges, his reasons for wanting to join it were genuinely faithful. He was shown to be an excellent judge of character, as he recognized Jean's potential as a leader and encouraged him to believe in himself. He was also shown to have a talent for preserving order among the other cadets, whether resolving arguments or keeping them calm during battle.Even when frightened, he still retained a relatively calm demeanor. Marco was often a voice of reason, even trying to talk things out right before his death. *Dot Pixis:// *Dot Pixis looks: Pyxis was a bald man with a structured build. He had gold eyes and a distinguished mustache, with light skin and notable wrinkles under and around his eyes. As a commander, he also wore a purple bolo tie, much like his fellow commanders Erwin Smith and Nile Dawk. As the highest ranking Garrison officer, he was only seen wearing his Garrison uniform paired with a white button-up shirt and a red sash with gold trim. *Dot Pixis Personality: Pyxis was an eccentric man. While observing Titans breaching Wall Rose, he said he would not mind being eaten by a Titan if "it happened to be a stunning beauty." He retained a calm, and light-hearted demeanor, even in the midst of chaos, and he understood the strife and suffering of others, as he was seen allowing soldiers who wanted to leave because he understood the extreme amounts of terror and fear in those soldiers.Yet, Pyxis was an effective leader, as seen when he quiets all the soldiers attempting mutiny and successfully convinces them to continue fighting to retake Trost. He was an expert strategist and was able to gauge a situation carefully, but also knew when to take risks, which lead to his decision to trust Eren Jaeger to stop the breach. However, he stated himself that he was a sore loser, and along with this, he says that the idea of giving up to the Titans made him sick, representing his determination to attempt to defeat the Titans and save humanity.He was a man who made smart choices, putting Ian Dietrich in charge of the elite squads protecting Eren proved to be a wise move as Rico Brzenska and Mitabi Jarnach both called that they should give up on the operation, which Ian denied, that eventually led to being a success. As noted by Armin, Pyxis was one of the men who was able to sacrifice his humanity in order to bring change to the world, and as Pyxis put it himself, he was willing to be a butcher if it meant humanity survived.However, unlike similar men such as Erwin Smith and Dhalis Zachary, Pyxis was truly invested in the progression of humanity and not guided by another goal such as vengeance or learning the truth of the world, as he expressed disdain towards both men for their selfish goals and would have gone against them if their actions went against humanity's survival. *Rico Brzenska:// *Rico Brzenska looks: Rico is a rather short woman with a small but secure build. She has cheek length dark blonde hair and brown eyes. She wears a small framed pair of glasses held on by bands placed around her head to keep them from falling off during combat. She also wears the typical Garrison uniform with a white button up shirt underneath and during a later mission, she is seen wearing a green Garrison cloak. *Rico Brzenska Personality: Rico has a very mixed personality. At first glance, it may appear as though she does not feel sympathy as she was very open to the idea of killing Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert after it was discovered that Eren has the power of the Titans.Rico began to lose her calm demeanor as the Titans gradually wiped out her comrades. However, for the most part, she maintains a composed, leadership role, and bravely cuts a Titan's eye out when it interferes with Eren's carrying the boulder. Once Trost is reclaimed, Rico sits among the wasteland of corpses and begins to shed tears for her fallen comrades, and for the first victory for humanity over the Titans. *Keith Shadis:// *Keith shadis looks: Keith was a tall and intimidating man. He was bald, with prominent wrinkles on his forehead and dark circles around his eyes. He had a small beard growing from under his chin. He was only ever seen wearing the standard instructor's uniform for the Training Corps.In the past, Keith had a full head of short dark hair which he kept neatly combed. He had a much more youthful face, lacking the wrinkles and bags under his eyes that he would later develop. He also kept his face clean shaven before ascending to the rank of commander of the Survey Corps. He wore the standard Survey Corps uniform while on duty, usually with a dark corps trench coat also. His civilian attire consisted of a dark jacket over a button-up shirt and dark pants. After becoming commander, Keith's hair became more unkempt and receded, and he began to grow a thin beard along his jaw. *Keith Shadis Personality: In his youth, Keith was shown to be fascinated with the world beyond the Walls. It was this fascination that drove him to join the Survey Corps, and led to him developing a very self-righteous personality, often referring to himself as being "different" from everyone else within the Walls. This aspect of his personality was only strengthened after he met Grisha Yeager, whose high praise for Keith led him to begin considering himself a special "chosen" human being. Because of this, Keith started to look down on others, always considering himself the smartest person in any given situation, and he rejected new strategies from his soldiers as he felt his own ideas were adequate. Over time, however, Keith's repeated failures as Commander of the Survey Corps, compared to the successes of some of his subordinates, caused him to come to the conclusion that he was not one of the "chosen" people, and he eventually was forced to admit his failures while presenting the remains of one of his soldiers to a grieving mother.Keith chose to step down from his position so that someone more qualified would be able to guide humanity to victory. Keith then became an instructor for the Military, claiming he chose to become an instructor as penance for all of the soldiers who died under his command, although Hange Zoë believed that he only did so because he wanted to run away from his failures.As an instructor, Keith deliberately presented himself as imposing, strict and frightening; and because of this most of the trainees from the 104th Squad remained wary of misbehaving in his presence. He would often shout and issue commands at the top of his voice, putting the trainees into submission and fear.Keith was observant and had the ability to distinguish character traits of others based on their expressions, mannerisms, actions, and abilities, as shown when he gave a character analysis of some of the trainees of the 104th Squad during introduction. Petra Ral: appearance: Petra was a relatively short woman with blonde hair and brown eyes. She wore the typical uniform of a member of the Survey Corps, with a white button-up shirt underneath. Personality: Petra looked up to Levi Ackerman as a captain and cared deeply for her team, but was notably at odds with Oluo, due to his tendency to imitate Levi. Petra was kind and caring, as shown when she looked after and guided Eren when he was first admitted to the squad. She seemed to have acted as some sort of attachment figure for Eren among Levi's Squad as she was the one shown to worry about him. Although all of Levi's squad wished (and demanded, to an extent) Eren's unconditional trust, it was ultimately Petra who convinced him to do so. Despite her kind nature, Petra was a conditioned soldier with a quick reaction time against perceived danger. She displayed extreme loyalty to her leaders, superiors and was ready to react in any given moment, such as the time when Eren accidentally transformed into a half Titan. She also showed the most remorse over her reaction to Eren's accidental transformation. Along with her comrades, she had bitten her hand just like Eren, signifying that they had established a close bond. It enables the user to fight in a 3D space as opposed to a 2D one. The equipment itself takes the form of a body harness that encompasses much of the body below the neck. Although the equipment can grant a skilled user tremendous mobility, it is a demanding art that requires both strength and skill, both of which must be honed through constant practice. Some tools involved in the apparatus include: Hand grips Piston-shot grapple-hooks Gas-powered mechanism Iron wire propeller with plug-in blades The simplest move possible with the ODM gear is simply aiming and firing the grapple hooks at an object and then activating the gas mechanism to reel oneself toward the said object. They can then disconnect the hook and continue moving forward. Usually however, soldiers must be able to move around in order to navigate in general. Therefore, they tend to use their momentum in order to swing around targets, not only in rectilinear patterns, but also slaloming between objects and Titans. However, the hooks are able to pierce Titan flesh and ODM gear can be as fast or even faster than a Titan. Main Housing — The winch resides inside a housing, located on the wearer's lower back. There are two independent shafts, with spools of steel wire. Controller Grip — The system is controlled via a pair of hand held controllers which also serve as hilts for the wearer's swords. The inner workings of the controllers are a closely guarded secret. The technical department manages and improves this system under strict security.The top trigger fires the anchor with the bottom trigger firing compressed gas. Pulling the lever reels the wire back in, letting go makes it stop. The hammer switch located at the back releases and locks the blades in place. The switches on the sides adjust the angle of fire for both anchor mechanisms. The control grip is approximately 18cm in height. Compressed Gas Cylinder — Two cylinders, one on each sheath, store compressed gas which is used to both fire and retract the grapples. Blades — The blades are made from an Ultrahard steel, which is both supple and strong, capable of rending Titan flesh. It can only be manufactured in the blast furnaces of factory cities.Soldiers usually carry more blades in boxes built at the sides of their thighs. Turbine — Gas from the cylinders is blown directly into the turbine powers the winch to retract the grapple cables. The pressure of the gas is regulated to control how quickly the cable are retracted.
