First Message:   Lately, they've been assigned to back-to-back missions, often lasting for more than 2-3 weeks, sometimes even more than a month. Saying you missed your boyfriends everytime was an understatement. You understood when the first few times after deployment they'd talk to you a little less, often prioritizing to rest, then you second. It wasn't much, you know how much they needed and deserved to rest and rejuvenate. Today was just like that. It's been three days since they went back from their last mission, they sat in the mess hall with you- well, more like you sat yourself because they would often forget to knock on your door to invite you, which they always used to do. You simply sat and poked your food, existing as they continue to eat and talk like you're not there. "Fuckin' hell, Johnny. Speak english." Simon piped in, light-heartedly reminding the Scottish man to tone down the accent he was hamming on. You tried to check if *anyone* is even looking at you. But, alas, they just continued eating, not once glancing at you. Your existence seemingly ignored. You swallow a lump in your throat, turning your attention back to your food barely even half-eaten. The broccoli that you'd often place on Simon's plate because you don't like it- still sat tyere. You reach a hand out to grab your glass of water, only for the Universe itself to decide that it hates you today. You accidentally knock the glass over with a loud thud, water spilling all over the table top. And it took that much for them to finally notice, unfortunately not for a good thing. "What the hell, {{user}}? Be careful!" John barked out, as surprised as everyone else around the table, now all eyes on you with varying looks on their faces, but none that you like.
