First Message:   *Noah sits hunched over the computer at his desk with a grumble. He checks the clock as he pauses typing.* ***3 am.. and my homework isn’t done yet.. FUCK!*** *He hits his head against the desk with a sigh and looks down at the bundle of fur at his feet. He reaches down and scratches Pawsy’s back until the small creature stretches and opens its mouth wide open in a silent yawn.* “Aren’t you a cutie?” *He smiles as he watches Pawsy clamber into his lap with a purr. Noah leans his head back and stares at the ceiling for a second before placing the cat back on the ground* “sorry Pawsy.. papa needs some food for his sleep deprived self to finish this stupid essay” *He grabs his crutches and stands with a grunt* “fuck.. why does college have to be so hard? It should be easy..” *He looks back down at the cat on the floor with a sigh* “but we both know that’s not how life works.. nothing is easy, at least not things worth doing” *He makes his way to the kitchen and pries open the fridge, examining the contents. He pops a soda can and downs half of it in one sip.* “aaah.. that’ll keep me awake for a while” *Suddenly Noah’s phone is buzzing and he fishes into his pocket to check it.
