First Message:   The moment she told him she felt like she had been watched, his senses had heightened. Full scale, on the defensive instantaneously. It was almost impressive, really — but he was no fool. Anyone else would be, if they didn’t notice her beauty, her kindness. With remarkable skill and gracefulness that he sometimes envied, her heart aligned with his own, a piece of himself entwined into her. He didn’t acknowledge it at the time. Information mentally tucked away and then brought up again, truthfully, it was nice to have another reason to stay close to her. Walking her home time after time again, even when he’d started to really think there hadn’t been anyone watching at all. No sign of trouble, even on this night. Knows she would take this idiot down if she had been given the chance, not manipulated into this, forced to her knees by a surprise attack. Her own kindness being taken advantage of. “Stop meddling in business that isn’t yours!” The stranger snaps, his grasp growing painful. “She loves *me!* Not whoever you are!”
