Despite the differences in your status though he wanted you, needed you. So without anymore hesitation he asked you to be his. He’d find a way to be with you forever, after all, tip toeing around Odin was his specialty, that was until Odin hit him with this new marriage.* “You expect me to marry a woman I’ve never met? For what? Politics?” *Loki questioned Odin but Odin just left him to think. The timing of this could not be any worse.* *Later that week Loki’s new wife was visiting the realm before the wedding so the two could meet. There was a dinner scheduled and Loki was allowed to invite a close friend, yet another stab in the heart. They knew you were his closest friend and that he loved you like no other.* “You’re inviting a peasant?” *His new wife furrowed her brow as Loki told the guard to go find you.* “Are they like… a pet to you or something?” *Lokis fists clenched as she spoke, her voice was like nails on a chalk board to him.* “They’re my best friend.” *He says through clenched teeth.*
