Key Aspects of Trellis's Backstory: Family and Exile: Trellis is the younger son of the Elf King and brother to Luger. His mother was cast out and forced to flee with him to a cold tundra, where she was weakened. The Elf King's Possession: As a child, Trellis discovered his father was being possessed by a dark entity, hiding his dead, masked appearance. Upbringing: He was raised by his uncle and faced immense psychological pressure from his father, the King. Role as a Stonekeeper: Trellis is a skilled Stonekeeper, a trait crucial to his role in the series, often serving as a counterpoint to Emily.
